Reader's POV

"Y/n!"

"Mujika?!"

I smiled as I saw Mujika.
We both raced to each other, our hands clasping each others as we spun around before hugging.

I chuckled, spinning her around once more before letting her go and hugging Sonju.
Mujika chuckled softly.

He was taken back, but he ruffled my hair.

.

"I see. Your mother...
But you're really free now. You really did it. It's amazing, congratulations!"
Mujika said brightly.

I chuckled.
"Thanks... but it's all because of you and Sonju! You helped us."
I told her.

"I'm happy for you too, Mujika,"
Jemima said.

"Nobody's hunting you anymore and your friends won't get killed,"
They added.

"Yes, I'm grateful. Thank you so much,"
She told the kids with a smile.

"And the promise?"
Sonju asked.

"We'll implement it tonight."
Ray said.

"Good, the sooner, the better,"
Mujika said.

"Let me see it through. As a friend, as the Queen."
Mujika smiled.

"But where and how are you supposed to implement the promise?"
Lanni asked.

"Oh that's... below Grace Field!!"
I told them.

.

Their eyes were wide as they stared.

I chuckled.

"An island floating above golden water..."
Oliver muttered.

"Just like the underground lake at Goldy Pond,"
Violet said.

"Stairs?"
"What is this place?"

"I've heard it. The passageway the Ratri Clan used to come and go as well as to transport goods,"
Norman said.

"I'll use this water to tell (Wthtti/Ryan) that I want to implement the promise.
And then we can go safely to the human world!"
I said, taking the water from Emma.

"Tell? How? Are you going to the Seven Walls again?"
Jemima asked with worry, grabbing the hem of my shirt.

"Oh, no, Jemmi. Actually-"
I started.

"What about the reward?"
Phil asked.

"The reward? WIll everything be okay?
You have to give a reward, right? Y/n... you're going to be able to go to the human world too, right?"
He asked.

I forced a smile and nodded.
"Don't you worry, Phil. I'll go with you guys."

"You're not going to die or be forced to stay in this world... or anything like that for sure?"
Phil asked.

"For sure! Everyone, all of us... the children in the other farms and all. They'll all survive and won't be left behind. We can all go to the human world, and alive."
I told him.

"Then what was the reward?!"
he exclaimed.

"What's the price we're paying to go to the human world?!"
he asked.

I forced a smile.

.
"The reward I want..."
(Wthtti/Ryan) started.

"Is your family..."
it said.

My eyes went wide.
"W-What?"
.

"What?!"

.
"Your family is most important to you... so I want your family.
But there's a problem. Your family will go to the human world. That's the promise. So I can't have your family. So what shall we do?"
it asked.
.

--
"It's fine. This time, for you... I don't need any reward."
that's what it didn't say.

"Whaaaaaaaaat?! No freaking way!!"
Violet exclaimed.

"So all of us children can go to the human world, without exception... and alive?!"
Don exclaimed.

"It's impossible that there is no reward!! Spill it!!"

"Y-Yeah! That's what I was thinking too!"
I chuckled.

.
"For the last 1,000 years, you've had everything taken from you."
.

"'So those 1,000 years are the price. You've entertained me in various ways, so that's enough,'
Plus, they really liked Leslie,"
I told them what they said.

"Really...?"
Yvette asked.

"I mean, if there's no need for a reward, that's great, but..."
Lanni said.

"No, something's off. It's too good to be true,"
Ray said.

"Y/n..."
Emma started.

"Y/n, if it's a deal that you have to sacrifice yourself, we'll just have to remain in this world,"
Norman said.

Damn...
"No, Norman! I understand why you're skeptical, but there's really nothing,"
I said.

"And you guys already know... how dangerous it is to stay here,"
I added.

"It's okay now, although the demons might start eating humans again. Or there could even be demons like the one that killed Mama, who won't accept the change.
The farms are gone... Mujika has become queen. no one can govern the appetite of the citizens. Because for the demons eating humans isn't a sin or a crim. We should disappear into the human world, and as soon as possible.
I'm not being sacrificed. Not just me. Nobody else either. Not even Leslie,"
I chuckled.

"Really really?"
Phil asked.

"Really really,"
I smiled.

"Yay!!"
everyone cheered.

"It sill doesn't make sense to me, that (Wthtti/Ryan) could never..."
Ray said.

"You think they have an ulterior motive?"
Norman asked.

"I thought about that too.
Maybe the human world isn't peaceful. Even if it is, there's a lot we have to worry about. Are they going to accept us? And what about the seizures Norman and the others have? The future may not always be bright, maybe that's why there was no reward.
But even if so.. I want to implement this promise... and go to the human world with everyone.
Because I know I can get over any worries or challenges as long as I'm with you guys,"
I smiled.

Ray, Emma, and Norman all smiled.

"We can work to create... a brighter future,"
I said.

"Let's go!"
They cheered.

I smiled and did the whole process.

Phil took my hand in his and I smile.
"You ready, nugget?"
I asked with a chuckle.

"Super ready!"
he said.

Don't go...
Please...

I saw (Wthtti/Ryan).

"Ready?"
they asked.

"Yeah, we're ready."
I said.

It glowed and translucent stairs brought up.

"B-Bye! Thank you, Mujika... Sonju,"
I said softly.

"Y-Yeah! Good luck!"
Mujika said.

A tear ran down my face but I quickly wiped it away.

A worried look crossed Sonju's face.
Mujika frowned, her lip quivering.

I'm so glad... I was able to meet you.
We'll always... always be friends.
