"Norman... Is getting shipped out?" I muttered.
"Mom. What happened to Y/n's leg?" Ray asked, his expression terrified.

"It's completely broken. I did it," Mom replied.
His expression turned into anger. Gilda and Don looked shocked.

"Don't worry. I broke it well, so it will heal back perfectly without a scar. But she will need rest. It will take a few months to heal," she said, holding me in her arms as tears were streaming down my face.

"I hope it's healed by your birthday, Ray," she said making him grit his teeth.
She turned to Norman and Emma as I grabbed onto my shirt to keep the pain still.
"Norman. Make sure to give me that bag later," she told him.

"Okay. Let's go back to the house," she then said, picking me up.

Time Skip

Norman held my hand as I tried to sleep on the bed.
An image of him dead like Conny was, had come into my mind.

{ What do I do? What the hell do I do? Norman's going to die. }

"Don't worry. All she took was the rope. Your leg will heal. You'll be able to escape," he told me.

"I don't care about if I escape! I can't escape without you," I told him. He gave me a soft smile.
"Just hold on. I'll get you some water," he said as he stood up and left.

{ I need to think. Think of a way to keep Norman from getting killed. }

Thoma and a few other kids then entered the room, "Y/n! You got hurt?" Thoma asked.

I gave them a smile and nodded.
When they left, Ray and Emma came in.

"Let's face it. We can't let Norman die," Ray told me.
I nodded and sat up slightly.

Once Norman came back with the water, we were ready.
"We need to talk," Ray said seriously.
"We're not going to let you die. Norman. Escape by yourself tomorrow afternoon," Ray added.
