Reader's POV

"Tell all citizens!! The current administration has been disabled!
The leaders, the vassal armies of the Five Regent house and those managing the four great farms shall be arrested immediately!!
I promise to distribute the evil-blood to all citizens and promise that no one will suffer from hunger or degeneration ever again!!
And one more thing... we'll take this opportunity... to abolish all farms,"
Leuvis announced.

The citizens erupted into talking.
"That we wouldn't be able to eat humans anymore?!"

"Exactly. This was decided in the promise 1,000 years ago.
'That we'll segregate our worlds and we won't hunt each other.'
But we continued to eat humans despite it. That is where everything got distorted. Farms shouldn't exist. Because of them, this reign continued. They held control over you by how they distributed human meat, manipulating your lives and intelligence."
He continued.

They started to murmur again.

"We will finally be free. We won't repeat the same mistakes and tragedy ever again."
Leuvis said.

The outcome...
Was positive.

"Abolish the farms!! Hurray for the new era!! Long live King Leuvis!!"
They cheered.

"No, Im... not going to become the King."
Leuvis said.

Silence.
Then...

"Whaaaaaaaaat?!"
"But you're highness?!"

"I'm part of the old system. I am also guilty of looking the other way during the old administration's reign.
I'm not worthy of becoming King. What the world needs is a new monarch,"
He said. I smiled softly.

"I believe Mujika here is fit to be that monarch."
He said, I smiled more brightly.

"What? Me?! Why?!"
Mujika exclaimed.

"I agree that Mujika is most worthy to rule."
An old demon said.

"Your excellency?!"

"You're safe!!"
Sonju exclaimed.

"Mujika has always acted selfless for the citizens, saving them many times. She is the most deserving.
The temple and Sonju will do our best to support you.
Will you become the new Queen, Mujika?"
He asked.

The citizens encouraged her.

"Wait. Nothing will have to change like that.
Was Legravalima to blame? Is the previous ruler the only one accountable?
No. You citizens were responsible for letting her rule. You left everything to the Queen.
That was how they manipulate you. Just now, a few moments ago, you were chanting 'kill the evil-blooded."
Not only the ruler, but all citizens must think and act. The new world will be created and protected by everything."
He said.

They continued to cheer.
I smiled softly.

.

"Our new queen!!"
"Long live the Queen!!"

I smiled happily.

"Mujika!! She was alive!"
Gilda exclaimed.

"But wait, she's the Queen? Why? What's going on?"
The kids asked.

"But that's good. The evil blood will be shared."
Don said.

"It's according to our original plan! The demons won't be annihilated!"
Lanni exclaimed.

"No, not just that... the farms will be abolished..."
Oliver said.

"The farms... will no longer exist!!"

We all cheered, hugging each other.

I didn't hug anyone, I just simply smiled in happiness.

Then Ray hugged me, from the back of course.

He rested his head on my shoulder and I smiled.

Emma and Norman soon joined, much to Ray's disappointment.

"We aren't... children to be eaten anymore... we aren't going to be pursued!"
Don said.

I chuckled and hugged him.
He almost fell back in surprise, but he hugged me back tightly.

"We're free!!"

"That means..."

.

.

I raced to the farm, not hesitating.

My heart stopped as I saw Phil.
A bright smile took over my face.

"Phil!"
I shouted.

He hesitated, then turned around.
"Y/n...? Y/n!!"

"I'm home, Phil!!"
I exclaimed, a bright smile on my face as tears rolled down my cheeks.
