"Done changing clothes?" Emma asked as Ray and I walked back in.
"Okay, next. Sit here," she told us.

I sat down with a smile,
"Wait, but... Emma, I don't..." he muttered. Emma slapped him.
"Are you still planning to die, you blockhead? Stop yapping and get ready to escape!" she told him.

"Emma, we're ready," Lanni called out.
Ray and I walked over to see what Lanni was talking about.

"What's this?" Ray asked.
"Your replacement," Lanni said.
"Norman said it's better than having nothing," Lanni added with a smile.
"I'll create a certain smell," Thoma said with a devilish chuckle.

"All that's left is the tracking device. I'll take it out, so sit with your ear toward me," she ordered Ray and me.

I sat down hesitantly.

"This letter was meant for you, Y/n," Emma said with a smile, handing me Norman's letter.
I read it carefully.

Ray is planning to die.

"Don and I will climb up first. Then we'll pull everyone up," Emma told us.
"Guys! Just do as we trained and you'll be fine!" Don said with a smile.

"Everyone's going to escape safely," Emma told us.

I smiled but that quickly disappeared as I looked around.
