none of your friends have arrived."
Leuvis said.

"But none of your friends... have arrived either,"
I said with a smirk. 

"Hahahaha. So that's your take.
I'm not surprised. All of them are probably dead by now. 
Their presence disappears, and a whistle is blown. That happened twice already,"
Leuvis said.

"Perhaps the first was Luce and the second Bayon? I felt Nous's and Nouma's presence disappear too. 
The third whistle will soon echo. 
See? My friends, eh?" 
he continued.

"I never thought of them that way. But now that this has happened, it's true that I am somewhat sad. Especially Bayon. I've known him for a long time. We understood each other in many ways. 
Before the promise, we used to hunt together often. True hunting."
Leuvis told us. 

"Truly a pitiful being. But I'm sure he had fun until the end.

he said, then he disappeared.

he smiled, behind us. 

Emma and I quickly turned around.

"Even as rabbits. You all defeated tigers. 
It's wonderful. This is how humans should be.
It's enough to blow my sadness away!"
he said.

"So the question is, how many will remain? Currently, it looks like just you two.
How many do you think will get here? Or have they all died, and will it just be you two?"
he asked, Emma and I didn't respond.

"It's nearly ten minutes.
Three more seconds,"
Emma raised her gun.

"Two,"
I did as well.

"One."
