Reader's POV

"What do you think your doing, Isabella?
Trying to act like a mother now... won't make up for what you've done all this time.
You can never become a mother.
Move,"
He told her.

Emma and I were both shaking.
I couldn't move...
I couldn't.

"I won't let you lay a finger on the children,"
Mama told him.

"I'll never accept a world like this without farms!!
I'll start with eating you first!"
He yelled.

Then, another demon shot him back. They arrested him.

"Mama!"
I exclaimed.

She fell back.
I rushed to her side, my eyes wide in panic.

"Mama!
"Mama!"

"Hang in there!"

The words all echoed in my mind as I stared at her.

"Y/n, Emma, are you okay? And everyone else... no one else got hurt?"
She asked.

"No! We're all okay!"
Emma answered.

"Good. I'm sorry,"
She told us, her voice was weak.

"Hold on, we'll save you!"
Gilda shouted.

"Mama! Please don't die!"
Emma shouted.

Tears ran down my face.
Then, I felt her hand on my cheek, instantly, I leaned into her touch.

"No... no..."
I murmured.

Before, I was terrified.
I couldn't understand.

I couldn't forgive her.
I suspected Mama was the same.

I saw her different,
As an enemy.

But... I remembered how kind
She was

I finally
Figured out why

It's because her kindness
And love

Were genuine.

All the shouting surrounded me.
I looked at Mama, time seemed to stop.

"Mama!"

"Mama!"

"Mama!"

Then...

"Mama!"
I giggled, pulling her with me.

"What is it, Y/n?"
She asked with a smile.

Leslie followed us happily.

I sat down at the small fence.
"Mama!"
I said, patting the space next to me.

She raised a brow, but sat down with me.

I was silent for a while. Then...
"Mama, what is the outside world like? When can I see it?"
I asked her.

"Don't ask silly questions like that, Y/n. . ."
She said softly.

I chuckled softly and nodded.

"Mama. When you tell me... you've found my home. Wanna know what I'll tell you?"
I asked her.

"Hmmm that you're happy?'
She suggested.

"No! That's what I'll tell you, Mama.
I'll tell you, "No! I'm going to stay here with you! And take care of children. Then I can say bye-bye to Normannnnn.... and Rayyy.... and Emmaaaa....""
I chuckled with a bright smile.

"Really, Y/n?"
She asked softly.

"Yeah, Mama,"
I told her with a smile as Leslie curled up in my lap.

She chuckled softly.
"Well, I'll look forward to that."
She said.

I laid my head on her as Leslie snuggled up on my neck.

"I lo..."

"I love you, Mama,"
I cried, tears rolling down my face.

"We still love you.... so so so so much.
No matter how hard it was. No matter how many times we were betrayed, even if you can't forgive yourself, we forgive you.
To us, you're our one and only mother."
I said softly.

The others nodded in agreed.

"I love all of you,"
Mama then said softly.

"I love you too,"
I muttered.

"I do too!"
"Me too!"

I smiled, tears rolling down my face.

"Ray,"
She then said softly.

Don called for Ray, and he came up beside me.

"I'm sorry,"
She told him, reaching to him.

His eyes were wide.

Her hands met his face.
"Take care of everybody."

"Mama... Mother!"
He cried, tears rolling down his face.

My heart clenched, more tears rolled down my face.

We all cried as her hands soon fell from Ray's face.

I hugged Ray this time, holding him in my arms as he sobbed.

"Hold on, Emma."
Mama called out, quickly rubbing dirt off of her face.

"Okay, all good,"
She smiled, nuzzling Emma.

"Okay, go have fun."
She told us.

"Okay, Mama!"
I smiled as she hugged all four of us.
