Reader's POV

[ A while earlier ]

I fixed my mask, taking a deep breath. 

Leslie wasn't with me anymore, he chose to stay with Oliver and the rest.
I was happy to have him back, but my mind was still flooded with worry. 

"The festival's already started,"
Emma stated. 

"Yeah. We got here later than planned,"
Ray said.

I nodded slightly.

"Do you think Oliver's group will be okay?"
I then asked.

"We just gotta believe in them,"
Ray said.

"Yeah,"
Emma agreed. 

"Norman is probably at the Tifari... in that castle,"
Ray stated, motioning to the castle.

"We have to hurry,
Emma said and we nodded.

{ Before Norman kills all of the Royal Family and Aristocrats. We must find him and convince him. And make him cancel all the attacks. }

I soon saw smoke and rose a brow. 
"What's going on?!"
emma exclaimed. 

Their was screams and I quickened my pace.
Bad idea.

An explosion hit and I flew back along with Emma. 

My eyes widened.
"It's already started."
I muttered.

Ray took off his mask with a scowl.
"Damn it, Norman's attacks have already begun!!"

"Y/n? Emma? Ray?!"

"Don? Gilda?!"
I exclaimed, turning back to them.

I was met with Don's arms wrapping around me.

"I'm so glad you're okay!"
he exclaimed.

I hugged him back.

"I mean, that everyone's okay!"
he corrected himself, running a hand through my hair.

I chuckled softly.
Gilda soon joined the hug.

"Oh my gosh!! You were both able to return safely!!"
Gilda exclaimed, taking us all into the hug.

"Hayato's with you too!" 
I then noticed, leaving Don's embrace to hug Hayato.

He smiled softly and nodded, patting my back.

"And this is Ayshe,"
Gilda told us.

I smiled and waved to her. 
she simply rose a hand back.

"Also..."
Gilda trailed off with a wider smile.

Ray's face lit up.
"Sonju! Mujika!!"
He exclaimed, rushing to them.

A smile broke onto my face, but it soon started to crumble.

Mujika rushed over to me and hugged me tightly.

"I thought I'd never see you again!"
I said, burying my face in her shoulder.

"Me too,"
she said softly, holding me close.

"It's gonna be okay. T-Thank you for what you're doing for us,"
she said softly.

"You have to thank Emma and Ray too,"
I said with a small chuckle.

She nodded, smiling.
I hugged her tighter as a tear rolled down my face.

"I missed you so much,"
I muttered.

"I missed you too,"
she said with a small chuckle.

"I-I... we'll stop Norman,"
I told her.

She nodded.
"Right now... I'm just glad you're back, Y/n,"
she told me.

I smiled and nodded.
"I'm glad you are too,"
I said.

"Actually, the fact that all of you are here... means you were successful, right?"
Don asked.

"Yeah! I was able to make a new promise. With (Ryan/Wthtti)!"
I said.

They cheered.

"But it won't be implemented yet,"
I quickly added.

"Okay, as planned!"
Gilda smiled,

"Where are Oliver and the others? They said they were going to give you a ride on horses. Did they all go home?"
Don asked.

"Well..."

[ Two days ago, in the morning ]

"What is that?"
Emma asked.

It was a huge line of demons.

"Demon soldiers. A ton of them."
Nigel said.

"Where are they going? The capital?"
Gillian asked.

"No, that's in the opposite direction."
Zack stated.

"Could they be... looking for our base?"
Ray asked.

Leslie jumped and snuggled close to me.

 We were silent for a second, fearing the thought.

"We're good. We'll get off here. 
Can you guys go back and let the base know?"
Emma asked.

Oliver helped me off of the horse.

"Yeah, this was a lot of help. 
We'll walk from here,"
Ray stated.

"Hold it. If there are this many demon soldiers around here... you'll have to take a detour to the capital,"
Nigel said.

"It's fine. You still brought us all the way here."
Emma smiled.

"We'll make it in time and stop Norman,"
Ray said.

"But those soldiers are trouble. 
And that's probably only part of their army. Judging from the numbers, they're most likely the Imperial Capital soldiers Norman liked army,"
Ray said.

"So do you think they figured out Norman's plan?"
Zack asked.

"I don't know yet. But... if a larger group discovers the base... the casualties would be far greater than when the Ratri Clan attacked us,"
Ray said.

"Don't worry. Leave this to us. You three head to the Imperial Capital. We'll see each other again soon,"
Oliver said and I nodded.

I handed him Leslie.
"I don't want him to get hurt with us... if you-"

"I would love to. I'll take care of him, don't worry,"
Oliver smiled and I smiled back.

"That's why we only arrived just now. We have to hurry,"
Emma said.

"But it's perfect... that we ran into you here,"
Ray said.

"There's one more problem,"
Ray added, handing them a note.

"What? A note?"
Gilda asked.

"That's Norman's writing... oh,"
Don muttered.

"IT's the recipe for a poison Norman had his guys make,"
Ray stated.

"Norman's probably going to use that on the citizens here. And he's planning to annihilate the demons in the Imperial Capital first.
Nothing's happened yet... but I'm sure he's already set stuff up. If something happens before we return, please do your best to control the damage."
Ray said.

"It's likely that it's more possible to help... now that Mujika and Sonju are here.
Of course, you need to prioritize your lives. If it's even a little dangerous, please run away,"
Emma said.

"Y/n, give me your hand,"
Sonju said, I turned to him and opened my hand to him.

He plopped something in it.
I rose a brow.

"What's this?"
I asked, inspecting it.

"A transmitter. I took it from and his friends,"
Sonju replied, putting his hand on Hayato's shoulder.

"If you need help once you're in the castle, use that to call us. 
We'll rush over."
Sonju said.

"If you press it, it'll make a sound and we'll know where you are,"
Don told us.

"Okay, so if something happens, we'll let you know using morse code,"
Ray said

"Leave the town to us,"
Mujika said softly.

"But when you guys are in danger, let us know immediately."
she added.

I nodded and smiled. 

"Hey, Y/n,"
Sonju said, placing his hand on my shoulder.

"Hm?"
I asked.

"You grew taller!"
he said with a smile.

I chuckled and smiled.
"Thanks for letting me know, Sonju,"
I said before giving him a quick hug. 

He nodded and smiled.

"Thank you! We're going now!"
Emma said.

"Er, Emma. One more thing,"
Gilda stepped up.

I put the transmitter in my pocket.
