I've been so busy, going between my dad's house to my mom's, cleaning, making food, writing my other books.

I stood next to Emma, our hands linked as we were about to announce our leave.

"Sorry! But we're going to the Seven Walls!"
Emma announced, sweating slightly as she did a salute.

"?!"
"WHAAAAT?!"
"Wait a minute."
"What do you  mean?"
"But Norman said he could kill off all the demons."

"Yeah, about that..."
Emma muttered, sweatdropping as she glanced to me.

"I was trying to hold it in... but I couldn't in the end. I don't want to eradicate the demons,"
Emma said, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!"

"Eradication. Annihilation. It is the most certain and correct way, but... when you actually think about it. It'd be different if there were only bad demons.
But there are demons who live normally in the towns. Children and babies."
Emma continued.

I saw Gillian and Oliver's guilty looks, Oliver's eyes met mine but I turned away.

"If possible, I don't want to kill them... and I don't want anyone else to kill them either,"
Emma said.

"And there's the issue of if we also have to kill Mujika and Sonju,"
Ray added.

Their faces went to slight horror.

"But this is all my selfishness. I decided that I wanted to do this.

Gillian said, shaking. 

I left Emma's side and wrapped my arms around her.
She leaned into my touch, shaking.

"Why? Emma you were almost killed by demons recently,"
Gilda said.

Gillian clutched onto me.
"Don't go..."
she muttered.

"Gilli-"

Gilda exclaimed.

I smiled brightly and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, Don!!"
I said.

His face turned bright red and he patted my head.
"It's n-nothing,"
he muttered.

"So... w-we're talking about Emma, Y/n, and Ray. You three must have thought about it a lot before deciding. Of course I'd rather avoid risk of going to the Seven Walls, but...
I don't disagree with Emma's I-ideals..."
he said, and I let go off him, nodding.

Don's face turned to pink, then to normal.
I chuckled, taking my side next to Ray.

"Most of all... the choice we won't regret, even if it's risky... is the freedom we've always chosen as escapees, right? And she's not going to listen even if we try to stop her,"
Don smiled.

"But... there's no need for you to be in a dangerous situation. It's a really dangerous path.
And it's not like you have to take it. So why/ Why does it always have to be you?"
Gilda asked Emma, I smiled softly.

"I'm sorry,"'
Emma said, hugging her.

I smiled and hugged her tightly.

Emma said.

I smiled and ruffled Nigel's hair.
He chuckled.
"Stay safe,"
he told me.

"I will!"
I said.

Gillian's eyes met mine and I hugged her quickly.
I fistbumped Zack and Oliver gave me a hug. 

Then, taking Ray's hand, we were ready to go.
