Action, Part 2

Mom entered the room and her eyes widened, I had fallen to my knees as I screamed for Ray.
"Mom help! Ray... Ray's in there!!" Emma yelled.

Mom left the room quickly then came back in, "Emma, Y/n, stay back," she ordered.

Emma nodded to me and we ran out, I left my crutches behind which was a bad mistake on my behalf.

Time Skip

Emma ran in front of me, "Oh! They're here!" one of the kids exclaimed.
Emma panted, "Thanks for waiting... everyone!" she told them.
"Okay, let's run away!" I said with a smile.

I scanned for Ray's face as I held the cloth to my ear.
Once he saw me he came over to me and gave me a hug.

I hugged back, obviously, and smiled.

Twenty Minutes Earlier... 

"Goodbye, Emma, Y/n," Ray said with a smile.
I jumped forwards and caught to match before it fell, "Y/n, your hands!" he exclaimed.

"Got it," I said with a smile.
"I have a message from Norman. "You can die anywhere. It doesn't have to be here. I'll show you something cool, so just shut up and come,"" Emma said, grabbing Ray's collar lightly as I stood up, sending a wave of pain through my body although I tried to act as if nothing happened.

"He knew that you would do this," I said sadly as I slumped my arms around Ray from behind, giving him a hug.
"Norman knew everything. Before he left. That's why he told me to stop you. Sorry, but I have no intention of letting you die. I, Norman, Y/n, and everyone else... won't let you die. Ever," Emma said with a smile.

"Everyone else? What are you..." he muttered as Emma opened the door to the knocking.

"I brought what you asked for, Emma. And everyone's ready," Thoma and Lanni said with smiles.

"Thanks, Lanni, Thoma," Emma said, grabbing the box.
"Okay, Ray. Y/n. Change. I'll explain later. Everything is exactly as Norman planned. We're escaping."
