That day, my love blossomed for you.
That day in October.
Or was it before that?

When I fell in love with everything about you.
Your smile, your excitement, your care, your humor...

I never deserved your joy.
And I never will.

I noticed the way you cared for animals.
I'm not sure how, but that brought happiness inside of me.

Even just at seven.
I love how your eyes shone in the sun.

I watched with a smile as you played with the stray cat in front of you.

And I love how delicately your fingers ran through the animal's fur and my heart.

"Jimin,"
I eyed you with curiosity.

"Hm?"
you replied with such a soft voice.

"Is that your cat?"
I had asked that day.

You had smiled with a bright twinkle of mischief in your eyes.
"Nope!"

I smiled, and my eyes lit up.
But never as brightly as yours.

"Nope? What if it has rabies!"
I had exclaimed.

You simply chuckled.
"She doesn't have that."

"How are you so sure?"
I asked you, kneeling down next to you in the grassy patch.

"I've been taking care of her,"
You told me.

The way you talk calms me down.
The way you smile helps me be happy.
The way your voice is soft makes me relaxed.

"I can't take her home... Do you want to?"
You'd asked.

Your eyes had such a bright light, I didn't find it in myself to tell you no.

"Of course!"
I smiled happily.

The cat before us nuzzled to my hand.
It's fur reminded me of spilled milk.
Or an angel...
Pure.

It's eyes were an icy blue that made a shiver run down your spine.
The icy blue would remind us of winter.
