Reader's POV

"I think I got it!!"
I heard someone shout.

...Emma?

"Huh? What did you shay?"
I heard another voice and turned to it.

Ray?!

"Snap out of it, Grandpa!!"
Emma exclaimed, slapping him.

He really was a grandpa.
And Emma was a baby.

Oh god... what was I?

Ray turned back to normal after Emma had done that.
 I rushed over to them.

"Emma? The real thi-"

"Guys! I'm so glad you're here,"
I said.

Ray and Emma's jaws both dropped.

"Y/n..."
Emma started.

"Why are you so beautiful?!"
Ray exclaimed.

I felt my face heart up once more.
"Uhm... thanks,"
I said.

I knew I was probably older now.
I was taller and all.

Ray chuckled softly and smiled.

"But uh, yes! The real me!"
Emma said, averting her eyes from me to Ray.

"I figured it out! It was like you said.
The Seven Walls is space-time and this place is unstable and the key is in our heads,"
Emma said.

"Uh...what?"
Ray and I said in unison.

"Okay, sorry! I'll explain from the beginning!
First, in this place, time and space are chaotic. It's unstable,"
Emma said.

Ray and I both nodded,
"Yeah."

"And everything is connected by scenes we know,"
she continued.

"I guess,"
Ray said and I nodded.

"This place is linked to our minds,"
Emma then said and my eyes widened in realization.

"The conscious and the unconscious,"
Emma continued.

"So consciousness is intervening. But that means our conscious minds can interfere with this place,"
Emma said.

"Huh?!"

"It's all up to our brains. We didn't realize it, but we can do it in this place.
In this maze, we can transcend the wall of space-time."
Emma said.

"Whoa, wait a minute. That theory is crazy. Do you have a basis for this?!"
Ray exclaimed.

"Nope! But I was able to do it earlier. When I seriously thought about turning back time, I became smaller. Even though I couldn't stop it.
Think about it. How did Ray become an old grandpa? How did you return to normal?"
Emma said.

"But I've never seen a desert like this before,"
Ray stated.

"We were lost for a long time... because we didn't understand.
We were confused.
We didn't correctly recognize this place. But this place has a true form,"
Emma said.

I nodded slightly.

"And that'll emerge when we stop and rewind time...
That's probably what it means by "walls appearing","
She said, taking my hands in hers, then adding Ray's hands to the pile.

"Come on. We can do it.
Believe it.
Imagine it.
So, Y/n, Ray. Let's stop time and rewind time for a bit,"
She said softly.

I smiled and nodded, closing my eyes and focused.

Everything is up to our minds.
Up to ourselves.
A new way of thinking changes the world.
Even at a time like this.

"You're really crazy, you know that?"
Ray said as he opened his eyes.

We were smaller now, like Emma.
I chuckled softly.

"But it's worth trying, right?"
Emma said.

I smiled and nodded.
We soon closed our eyes once again.

{ When we're younger we don't think of what was impossible.
Or consider there was anything we couldn't do. }

{ Remember the sensation from back then.
We can do it.
Believe.
From the bottom of my heart, without any trace of doubt. }

{ Stop...
And rewind. }

Light hit my face and I opened my eyes.

Our hands all disconnected as we looked around.

"It changed.
Is this the true form?"
Ray muttered.

"This... could this be the cube with 10 RI on each side?"
I said.

Ray then started to mutter something.
"Blehejqhsjwwiququwhsa blehwwhanahsuaiqbehw bnlsjwjwiquqjwbwn"

"Hey, could (Wthtti) be..."
Ray started.

"Hey, look..."
I said, turning to the thing behind us.

"What is this? A black..."

"Sphere?"

"No, this... is a hole."
Ray muttered.
