Reader's POV

I sobbed into Emma's shoulder, shaking in frustration.

I still had my hand on the cloth at Peter's neck.
Zack, Gillian, Nigel, and Oliver soon rushed over to us.

"Emma, I've got her, don't worry."
Norman said softly, taking me into his arms.

Emma nodded, Ray's expression changed quickly but he aided Peter.

Norman ran a hand through my hair soothingly as I was curled up close to him.

He pressed his hand to the back of my neck, it was cold.
A shiver ran down my back but it made my thoughts slow down.

"Breathe with me. 1..."
He started, I took a deep breath.

I knew what he was doing.
He was doing what he did when I had a break down at the house...

"Just concentrate on your breathing... stay in the present,"
He told me with a smile.

My breathing had gone back to normal, yet tears had still continued to roll down my face.

He smiled softly.
"You're doing good, focus on your breathing. I'm proud of you,"
He said with a smile

"Just clear your thoughts... if talking about it helps, then talk to me,"
He said softly.

I shook my head. I couldn't tell him about this....
He simply nodded.

I had my head rested on his chest, he had taken me a bit farther away from the commotion, I hadn't even noticed until now.

"I love you, you know that?"
He said softly.

"Y-Yeah.... I love you too,"
I murmured.

My heart was racing as well as my thoughts.
Although, my breathing had gone back to normal.

Norman had continued to run his hand through my hair, soothing me.

I stayed close to Norman, not saying anything as I settled down.

This is what he did to calm my  breakdowns.
It always worked, of course, he was able to get my head onto the right stayed of mind.
Because of Norman, I was able to stay stable at Grace Field.
I'm so grateful... for him.

I took a deep breath, and we just stayed together in silence as we used to do.

Nigel came over, a worried look on his face.
"Y/n...  are you okay?"
He asked softly.

"I'm better..."
I muttered.

"Do you need anything?"
Nigel then asked.

"She's cold,"
Norman told him. It was obvious I was, I was still shaking even though I was more calm now.
And at each chance I got, I snuggled closer to Norman.

Nigel nodded and took off his hat. He placed it on my hat, which created a good warmth for my face.

"Thank you, Nigel,"
I said with a smile.

"Peter... we couldn't save him,"
Nigel told us.

Norman nodded slightly, there wasn't much he could say.

"We'll start going now."

Nigel gave me a smile and I smiled back before he left.

Ray soon came up to us.
"Guys, we have to go,"
He said, I didn't like the look in his eyes.

"She'll go at her own time!"
Norman growled out, then his slightly taken back expression showed he didn't mean to be so harsh.

Ray seemed he was about to growl back, but he knew Norman didn't mean it, so he nodded slightly.

"Just.. be careful,"
He muttered.

I quickly stood up.
"L-Let's go,"
I told them with a smile.

"Ray, I'm sorry,"
Norman had told Ray as we all got up.

"It's okay,"
Ray said.

I got nervous a bit, they'd probably talk about it later...

Ray gave me a reassuring smile and I took his hand into mine.

"Are you okay?"
He asked me.

"Yeah.... I'm better now,"
I said with a smile.

He nodded in relief and kissed my cheek softly.
I wasn't sure if it was to get back at Norman or to actually make me feel better.

I took it to make me feel better and I gave him a smile.

I took a deep breath and followed everyone.

I stood in front of Mama and the others Moms.
She frowned, probably seeing my tear stained eyes.

"So... Y/n, Emma... all of you.
What do you plan to do now?"
She asked.

"We're going to retreat now.
There's still the 2,000 Imperial Soldiers, and we have other stuff we need to do.
But I'm glad, because I wanted to talk to you once we got to Grace Field."
Emma said.

"Let's go to the human world."
She said, Mama looked stunned
The other moms also did.

"Once everything is over...you should come with us.
Y/n has already made the promise with (Wthtti/Ryan) for it to be that way.
Of course, that's only if you want to. Once everything is done and this promise is implemented... Mom, the Sisters, the adults and children of the other farms... we can all go to the human world,"
Emma said softly.

"You're going to forgive us?"
One asked softly.

"After what we did?"
The other asked.

"Well...."
"But..."

"We'll stay here. We appreciate your offer, but we're..."
Mama started.

"Get over it already,"
Ray spoke up, his hand was still in mine and he didn't seem to want to let go.

"You were sick of this, right? If you have regrets, take care of them in the human world.
I'm glad I'm alive. It's because I'm alive that I can atone for my sins and clear my conscious.
It's fine. No one will resent anyone. We're not holding grudges.
So let's go, all of you, with us."
Ray stated.

Mama's expression broke and the kids started to encourage her to say yes.
Then they all started hugging them.

I gave her a smile and she soon broke into tears.

"I'm sorry... and thank you, everyone,"
She said softly.

"Then it's settled.
Just a little longer. Once we finish everything, we'll come back here.
Until then, Grace Field will continue to cooperate, but... we'll be waiting,"
Emma said.

"Don't worry. The demons and the Ratri Clan servants don't know about our betrayal yet.
We'll handle it. Leave Grace Field to us. We'll take care of Phil and the others, and we'll deal with the demons too,"
Mama said with a smile.

"Be careful,"
She then said.

"Yeah, we'll be back soon."
Emma said.

Then, we were soon waving off.

Norman checked with Cislo and them before we completely left.

"Cislo! We're going to evacuate! Is everything okay on that side?"
Norman asked.

"Boss! Everything's fine... er, it was... but... well, I don't really understand.
The Imperial Soldiers are on the move. They're all leaving! And heading toward the Outer Bridge!!"
Cislo told him.

Our eyes widened.

"That's not good! Reinforcements, they're going to attack us!!"
Hayato exclaimed.
"We should run!! Now!!"

"Wait. Look at this,"
One of the moms called out.

"Notice! A message from the Imperial Capital to all citizens!"

Our eyes widened sligthly.
