More fun moments from when you were forced to stay in bed:

I grinned as I looked at Ray, ruffling his hair.
"Damn, Ray. Your hair is starting to grow out,"
I said softly.

"Do you like it?"
He asked, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly as I touched his hair.

"Love it,"
I smiled.
{ Now you can be the true emo you are. }
He smiled back.

"Yours is too,"
He noticed, smiling as he pushed back my hair, kissing my forehead.
"Ray-"
I knew he did that only to get my protection squad defensive again, since he stuck out his tongue at them right after.

"Attack!!"
Jemima said, then she, Chris, and Yvette all went at Ray, tackling him down.

"I didn't mean it!"
I heard Ray say.

I sweatdropped but soon chuckled.

The three now never let me be in the room alone with Ray.
When he was there, they were there.

If it was someone else, maybe at least one or two of them.

I looked at Gillian with a smile.
"You worried me. I'm glad you're okay,"
I told her.

"I should be telling you that! You could've died,"
She said, hugging me.

I hugged her back.
"Sure. Either way, I'm glad you're okay,'
I said.

She chuckled with a nod.
"Yup."
She smiled brightly.

Oliver entered the room, holding a bowl of soup.

"I'm here to bother Y/n,"
He said.
I chuckled.

"She's not here,"
I smiled.

"Where is she then?"
He asked.

"Can't tell ya. But you can talk to me, I'm also Y/n,"
I said.

He smiled, sitting down next to me.
"Nice to see you, also Y/n,"
He said with a wave.

"Nice to see you, Ollie."
I copied his wave.

"Ray's busy so he told me to give you your food,"
He then said.

I nodded, taking the bowl. But I couldn't.
"He also said to not trust you to eat by yourself,"
He said, getting a small bit of it. I willingly let him, because, well, that was something I did with Ray.

Jemima snuggled close to me along with Yvette and Chris.

I sighed but chuckled, ruffling their hair.

"Y/n, you can't be a Momma yet,"
Yvette said softly.

"Cause then you'd abandon us,"
Chris continued.

"So we need to get rid of Ray."
Jemima finished. They erupted into giggles and I sweatdropped.

T

hen there were times when it was just me.

And chaos broke in.

Gilda rushed into the room.
"Y/n! Oh thank god,"
She said once she saw me.

"What is it, Gilda?"
I asked with a chuckle.

"Emma's already trying to get up. I was worried you would try too,"
She said.

Oh, I have been trying.
But i knew telling her that would not go well.

I just smiled and nodded.

And then there were times when it was nice. And peaceful.

Mostly.

I snuggled close to Ray as I started falling asleep.
We were spending more time together, but I don't think it was much noticable.

Well, to my protection squad, it was.
And they didn't like it at all.

But from everyone else, it was nothing.
Ray and I just had to catch up from time missed together.

Also because we were... whatever this is.

Ray was already asleep, his arm wrapped around me, and his head snuggled in my neck.

And then... Chris, Jemima, and Yvette on my other side.
Glaring at them with all their might.

(I'm sorry, those three are just my favorite of the kids xD)

They were all whispering to each other as well, discussing their evil plans.

"Shouldn't you guys be doing something?"
I asked.

"Shouldn't Ray be doing something?"
Chris asked.
"He's sleeping."
I said with a chuckle.

"We can't trust him, Y/n,"
Yvette whispered to me.

"I thought you guys loved Ray,"
I smiled.

They all looked to each other.
"We do, but... we have to protect you,"
They smiled.

Yup... these were my peaceful times.

Reader's POV

"So, something is really there..."
Nat said in a shaky voice.

"Mr. Minerva is already dead?"
Chris and Alicia cried.

"The way to the other world..."
Lanni started.

"Was an elevator above a pond?"
Thoma finished.

"To think... there was a passage way at Grace Field House!"
Anna said.

"This is amazing.
The passageways. Supporters.
Blueprints of the farms.
The Lambda Project.
The Seven Walls... and..."
Don said in awe.

I touched my amulet with a smile.

"Look, there's even instructions on how to get in touch with the supporters. If we do make contact, does it mean we can go to the human world?"
Gilda muttered.

"If we get in touch with the supporters... and use the blueprint to save Phil and the others...
Then we can... escape to the human world from Grace Field?
So if we want to, we can go immediately to the human world,"
Don said.

"Yeah, probably. But it's also dangerous."
Ray said.

"The Ratri Clan. The family of Minerva.
For generations they kept the promise of feeding children to the demons...
To maintain order in human the world.
I'm sure the traitor who killed Mr. Minerva... as well as the whole clan won't allow us to be free."
He finished.

"So that means..."
Thoma mutters shakily.

"It means the Ratri family and the traitor who killed Mr. Minerva... will come after us at full force."
Gilda said.

"So under those conditions... even if we go to the human world, our safety won't be guaranteed."
Ray started.

"The passageway inside the farm... is probably managed by the Ratri family too.
Another issue is whether the human world knows of us. Even if we get there, will they accept us?
We're going to break the promise to go there and...
Worst case might case another war between the two worlds,"
Ray continued.

"N-No way..."
The kids were scared.

"Do we escape in secret with only us?
Or do we start an all-out war against the demons with all the children from the other farms?
I don't want war. And what I want is the release of everyone at Grace Field. Regardless of how many there are of us, I think it's possible to escape without them noticing,"
Emma said.

I nodded in agreement, leaning on the wall.

"I want us all to escape, and I don't want to lose anyone. Not anyone from my family or any of the friends I made at Goldy Pond.
And I don't want to just escape. I want to live happily in peace.
And I realized something... when I was placed in the hunting ground at Goldy Pond. The world has many children raised as food like us. I just didn't know about them. I can't leave them behind. I want to free all of the children,"
Emma said

"Not just Grace Field. But Glory Bell, Grand Valley, and the last farm, Goodwill Ridge. Also the Mass Production that Sonju told us about, and the new farm Lambda where Adam may have come from!
I want all of them gone. I want to create a world where children aren't food. I want to first make this a world where we won't be pursued... before we escape,"
Emma finished.

"A world where we won't be pursued?"
Yvette asked.

"Yeah. And for that... we have to find the Seven Walls. And make a new promise with (whatever the heck that thing is),"
I said.

"The Seven Walls..."

"It's the thing Mujika was talking about,
Don said.

"And (whatever the heck that thing is) is what Sister was talking about that night,"
Gilda muttered.

"A new promise..."
Ray mumbled.

""(Whatever the heck that thing is) is a being who stands above all demons... and is past the Seven Walls." If we make a new promise with (Wthtti) we can safely go tot the world without demons?"
Lanni asked.

"But it also says even Mr. Minerva's never reached the Seven Walls. And he's never met (Wthtti). A new promise? What would that entail? And how would we do it?
I know I'm being pessimistic. But we could achieve a feat? Because I'm sure the demons want to keep eating humans,"
Nat said.

"He gave us a hint regarding that. See here,"
Emma said.

""The other promise that was made..." I see,"
Ray said, his expression slightly alarmed.

"It's going to take a while. It's also a big deal. I don't think it's going to be easy. But I want to go forward with this option.
What do you all think? Will you still come with me?"
Emma asked.

Everyone smirked/smiled.

"Do you even have to ask? Of course we'll go,"
Don said.

"Let's find the Seven Walls!"
Gilda smiled.

"Yeah!!"
everyone agreed.

"Okay! Then we have to do these five things.
Get in touch with the supporters.
Find the Seven Walls.
Meet with (Wthtti).
Make a new promise. Return to get Phil and the others to go to the human world. We have to do all of this as soon as possible, but definitely within two years,"
Ray said.

"We can do it!"
Emma agreed. I smiled, even though I was falling asleep.

"Then first we better find out if we can contact the supporters or not,"
Ray said.

I sat up and headed to the door.
"We have to tell Yuugo and everyone. Ask for their opinion-"
I bumped into Yuugo at the doorway, causing me to stumble slightly.

I luckily regained my footing on my own, definitely not with the help of Nigel, who steadied me.
"You don't have to ask. A world without children being eaten. Do it,"
Yuugo said, looking at me.

"I'm in too!"
Nigel smiled, raising his hand from my shoulder.

"Me too."
Violet smiled.

"And me,"
Theo piped in.

"Here,"
Yuugo said, handing me some nuts.

"You guys were outside?"
"We got some tree nuts from the forest."

"Are you sure about this? Yuugo, Lucas, and everyone from the hunting ground. You guys have the option of secretly escaping first, you know,"
Emma chimed in.

"Well, it's a crazy idea. It's going to be super dangerous,"
Yuugo said,

"But we don't want to escape first!"
Theo said.

"Is that how you see us?"
Nigel chuckled.

"Let us help return the favor,"
Violet said.

"You're going to take me to the human world with you, right?"
Yuugo said with a smile.

"We'll go with you. And everyone feels the same way,"
Lucas said.

I turned to him and everyone else.

Oliver shook my hand as if in agreement.

Gillian hurried to my side, grinning as she turned to Yuugo.
"So you four were eavsdropping, huh?"
she smirked.

I chuckled.
"What? No! We just happened to be here!"
Yuugo defended.

I doubted that, but I smiled eitherway.
Gillain giggled.

{ We're coming, Phil. }
