Shiro sucked in a breath as he watched you kick the guard so hard in the chest that he slammed against the wall, the armor he was wearing was not enough to protect him from your fury as you grabbed the guards head and slammed it as hard as you could against the wall. The guard slowly sunk down to the ground before you turned your attention to the second guard. He was running down the hall, trying to call for reinforcements when you lifted up your gun and shot him right in the back. He collapsed instantly. You then turned your attention to Shiro, who had been sitting in a cell with a few other aliens watching everything that had just happened. The aliens let out laughs of joy as a few cussed at the guard on the ground before you freed them.

"Hello Shiro," You said, a fond smile present on his lips as you held your hand out for him to take, which he did take. You pulled him to his feet and he sent you a small smile as you handed him his helmet. Once he slipped the helmet on he heard Lance and Keith arguing amongst themselves. "I've got Shiro and the rest of the prisoners. We're making our way to the black lion now." You informed the team. The two of them stopped bickering immediately.

"Thank you (Name)" Shiro said as he placed his hand on your shoulder, he had tried to look relaxed but his grip on your shoulder was almost desperate. You could only imagine how horrible it was to be back in a Galra cell. You placed your hand on top of his, an action that made his heart skip a beat. 

"Anything for you Shiro. Now, to the black lion" You dropped your hand from his and guided them to where you landed the lion. He walked in and sat down before taking control of the lion and you all managed to fly away, towards the castle.

The next time he saw you, you were in the training room, you had the robot pinned down underneath you before you stood up, calling out to the room to start the next sequence. He leaned in the doorframe and watched you. The moment the robot bolted towards you, you blocked the hit with your arm, a move he physically flinched at. He could only imagine the bruise you would have the next day. The grabbed the robot by the arm and flipped it before slamming your knee against the back of the shoulder, something that would most likely dislocate it on a normal human, or alien. Once again, you had the robot pinned under your weight before he finally called your name, letting you know that he was in the room. You looked up, you sent him a smile before standing up, calling out for the sequence to stop.

"Hey, Shiro. What's up?" You asked as you grabbed your water and took a drink from it. 

"I just wanted to thank you again for saving me back there." You shook your head at his words. You placed a hand on his shoulder, squeezing it gently.

"You shouldn't thank me. Your Lion is who got me there" You grinned before grabbing your jacket and walking out of the training room.

"I meant to ask you about that. I thought only the paladins could ride their lions" He confessed as he walked next to you. You nodded at his words.

"We made a mutual agreement." You said, "I promised that I would bring you back, safe and uninjured." You leaned over and placed a quick kiss on his cheek before making your way down the hall while he stayed put, placing a hand where you just kissed, flustered.
