You sat on the bench, waiting for your boyfriend to come out of the dressing room. He had invited you to watch his practice today so afterwards the two of you could hang out.

"Why don't you swim?" The young boy asked as he stood a few feet away from you. You looked up at Nitori.

"I like swimming just not competitively." You shrugged, not wanting to tell him the true reason. Rin had attempted on multiple occasions to try and teach you how to swim but in all those situations you refused. Nitori nodded. His eyes flickered to three boys who were walking towards the two of you.

"The water is great" one of them chimed as he stood in front of you. "Would you like to join us?" The other two boys began to snicker. You looked over at Nitori who had fear in his eyes. He kept glancing between the boys and you. The moment the boy in front of you grabbed your arm Nitori stepped forward.

"What are you doing?" The two stepped in front of Nitori, holding him back."we're just having a little fun" They sneered.

"Come on, lets go for a dip" the boy who had a hold on your arm began pulling you up, dragging you to the pool. "It'll be fun" he reassured you as he dragged you to the edge of the pool. You tried pushing him off at you but to no avail. He laughed as he threw you into the water. They laughed, believing it to be a practical joke between the three of them as Nitori tried to pry the boys' hands off of him.

You used the bottom to help you push yourself back to the bottom but being so far from the edge you kept sinking back into the water.

"Shit she can't swim-" one of them cursed. You couldn't think, your head was spinning the water was suffocating you. A hell of a name. Your name. Then hands. You were taken by the arm and yanked up. You gasped in desperation as you grasped the person's shoulder.

"It's okay (Name)" Rin said as he swam the two of you to the edge of the pool. He helped you get out and used the jacket he had thrown off before jumping into the water to get you and placed it over your shoulders. Nitori pushed through the boys and handed you a towel. You thanked him and dried off your hair. Rin kept an arm around your waist, glaring at the three boys who were currently getting a mouthful from the captain. "I'll walk you home" he said as he escorted you out of the pool area. He kept his arm around you while he walked you home.

"I'm sorry" you managed to whisper out. He stopped, frowning.

"Why? What happened wasn't you fault." He rubbed your arm.

"I should have learned how to swim and if I had I would have been fine but instead you had to dive into the water and get me" you gripped his free hand. "So I'm sorry"

"I would have dove in either way. Trust me, those jerks will regret what they did to you. On Sunday let's go to a public pool and I can teach you how to swim okay?" He smiled at you, reassuring you. You smiled back, nodding. Rin leaned down and kissed you, pulling away to start walking again. "Alright. Then it's set"
