Kite still was not used to this relationship stuff. He never had. The only person he had ever loved up until now was his younger brother, but then he met you, and everything changed. To be honest he hated you. Well he tried to. He hated how you made him love you. He hated the smile that he somehow fell for, and he hated how your stupid face was so gorgeous and cute at the same time. At one point he just got fed up and confessed to how he felt about you. You can imagine how that went. You ended up laughing so hard that you had to lean on him for support. He failed so hard that you laughed until you cried. He felt so stupid, and embarassed, but you reassured him that you liked him. That helped lift off the stress, but he was still kind of embarassed about how he confessed. When he looked back on it he wished that he could have done it more... romantically, but whenever he mentioned it you would always tell him how it was the most interesting way to be confessed to. 

Even though he was still quite awkward he tried his best to be... romantic with you. You would mostly be the one to do the work though. You would wrap him into hugs, hold his hand in public, kiss him on th cheek, and exclaim your love to him. He felt bad everytime he failed to tell you he loved you, or wrap his arms around you. So today... Today he was going to be affectionate towards you. Today was going to be the day. After all it was Valentines day, so why not today of all days? 

"(Name)" He called out. You hummed a small reply, and he walked towards you. You were sitting on his couch reading a book. He walked up behind you and placed a small gift in front of you. You looked up at him with a confused expression. 

"What's this Kite?" You asked him. He looked away.

"It's valentines day isn't it? Why wouldn't I get the person I love a gift?" He said as though it was simple. You looked at him surprised before you quickly got up, making sure not to drop the box, and hugged him. Kite was surprised at your sudden action, and he stumbled back a little.

"Thanks so much Kite" You said as you pulled him even closer. He smiled, and wrapped his arms around you.

"I know I may not say this much but... I really like you (Name). I love you. I really do" He said as he nuzzled his head into your shoulder. You pulled away, and he looked surprised. You grabbed his face and kissed him right then and there. When you pulled away you saw how his face was red, and how he covered the lower half of his face. You smiled at him.

"Ah... Sorry Kite. That's my fault. You were just too cute" You say as you scrated the back of you neck. He furrowed his brows before he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you close to him before he leaned down and kissed you properly. You didn't hesitate to kiss Kite back, before he pulled away and looked at you.

"I think you're the one who's too cute" He said with a smirk.
