A/N: This has spoilers from the movie How to Train Your Dragon 2.

"(Name) Why do you even hang out with that loser?" The voice of Snotlout made you turn to face him.

"He's not a loser" You commented gently looking at Hiccup from the corner of your eye.

"Yea. He's so weak he can't even pick up an axe" Tuffnut chimed in. You frowned and looked at him.

"He's different and because of that he's unique. He's smart and there's something interesting about him. He's not like the other vikings." You say.

"Yea cause he's weak" Ruffnut said and there was a small chorus of laughter.

"You may not see it yet" You say. "But he's special." You say before you walk away from your group over to the table where Hiccup sat. He smiled at you. He was happy to see someone stick up for him.

That happened about five years ago. Before the land of Berk befriended dragons. Hiccup smiled at the memory of you. About three years ago you left the island of Berk. He was saddened to see this. He liked you. He liked your company on Berk. Sure he had plenty of friends now but none of them were you. He remembered you standing across from him and telling him you were leaving. He was devastated to hear that. He questioned why and all you said was

"Ever since we've befriended dragons out world has gotten a whole lot bigger. I want to be able to venture out!"

You had asked him if it was alright for you to leave. How could he say no? His only request was that you visit. You nodded and just before you left he gave you a small metal bracelet nothing special. You thanked him and placed a quick kiss to his cheek before confessing to him that you had liked him for a while. He could not even say anything because before he could you were gone and he was frozen in place. He should have chased after you.

But like he said. That was three years ago. You never visited since then. He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair. He wished you were here so he could talk to you about his frustrations. You were so easy to talk to. You were always able to make him smile. He let out a frustrated groan.

"Oh come on dad. Really-" He stopped when he saw someone else... something else. He watched as the figure went below the clouds. He placed his hand on Toothless. "Okay. No sudden moves" Him and Toothless watched as the figure along with a dragon that looked very similar to yours rose above them and circled them before stopping in front of the two. "Hold on. Hold on" He said to Toothless. After a moment a dragon came and swooped down and grabbed Hiccup. Taking him from Toothless. He yelled out for his dragon desperatly trying to get out of the dragons grasp. "Hey! You left my dragon back there! He can't fly on his own!" The dragon soon dropped him in the middle of even more dragons. 

The craziest part was not when the woman had told him he was her mother and it was not when she had told him to follow her so he stumbled after her and it was not when he saw all those dragons and not when his father had met his mother and they had done that nice dance but when he heard a familiar voice call out to his mother.

"Valka! You'll never guess what I just found-" You stopped when you saw Stoick. You sturned to see Hiccup staring at you. "Right I'll just be..." You said as you motioned back towards the way you came. Hiccup quickly got up and went after you. He mumbled a quick excuse and entered the way you had left. 

"(Name)! Wait!" He called out chasing you. Though it was mostly stumbling while Toothless helped him out. He watched as you gracefully and easily ran through the hallway. When you were at the opening you quickly moved to fly off but before you could even get away Hiccup grabbed the back of your shirt and pulled you away from your dragon. You let out a yelp and tried to push him away. He grabs hold of your hands and turns you around to look at him. "(Name)..." He says slightly out of breath. "(Name)?" 

"I'm sorry." You said. "I'm so sorry" You were shaking. "Please don't be mad" You pleaded. He stared at you shock and he could hear the growl of your dragon warning him not to hurt you. He glanced at your dragon before looking back at you.

"(Name)... What are you talking about?" He asked you.

"I never came by to see you. Not in three years and I'm really sorry but I just couldn't. So please dont be mad" You said. He looked at you before bringing you close and wrapping his arms around you.

"(Name)" He said as he lifted your chin up. You had tears in your eyes. "I could never be mad at you" He said. 

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you" You said as you wrapped your arms around him. "I'm sorry I was unable to visit you. I was scared after what happened. I thought you hated me after that" You shakily stated. He smiled and placed a light kiss ontop of your head. 

"I've been looking for you since you've left. I went out everyday listing and writing down where I had been trying to find you. I never could have pictured that you would be here with my mother" He laughed. "I never told you that I loved you before you left." He said and you looked up at him surprised. 

"Hiccup-" You were cut off by Hiccup kissing you. When the two of you pulled away you looked over too see Toothless sitting underneath your Stormcutter's, Achilles, wing. You laughed at them. Hiccup looked at you as you laughed. He really did miss your laughter, your smile, your hair, your eyes. He missed how soft your skin was. He missed you. He smiled before pulling you in for a hug and planting a light kiss on your head. He was happy to have you back.
