Maou X Reader (Devil as a Part-Timer)

Maou knocked on the bright white coloured door to your private hospital room. He stood in the hallway awaiting for your permission to be let in the room. A while ago you had been in a terrible car accident. You had broken both of your legs and had been admitted into the hospital. However due to some complications you had been asked to stay until you made a complete recovery. He felt guilty that he was unable to do anything.

"Maou!" You said as you moved to sit up straighter. At the sound of your voice Maou snapped out of his daze and gazed at you. You closed the book you were reading and placed it on the nightstand beside your bed. "What are you doing here?" You asked. He grinned and entered your room.

"I just wanted to visit my girlfriend on Valentines Day." He said as he held out a dozen roses and sat down on the bed beside you. You gently took the roses from his grip and nervously tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear. "They said you're getting better day by day" He gave you a a reassuring smile as he placed his hand hand on your leg. "They said you will be able to go into physical therapy and try walking again". You grinned.

"I'm excited, but also anxious" you said as your grip on the flowers tightened. He removed his hand from your leg and placed it on your hand.

"I'll be there for you through every step" he said. He placed a kiss on your lips before he pulled away. "I'm sorry I can't stay longer but my shift is going to start soon and I have to go but I'll come back after my shift is over." He stood up and you smiled at him.

"Bring me some food please. As much as I love the hospital food I need a break from it" He sighed and he nodded.

"As you wish my princess" He said before he pressed another kiss to your lips, this time you kissed back. He pulled away and waved goodbye to you. You smiled and looked down at the flowers that he had given you.

"My boyfriend is truly amazing" You whispered as you placed the flowers on your nightstand beside the book.
