A/N: I don't think there is anything to lookout for but there might be? Anyway. I wanted to try and kinda make a thing where Sendak is visiting earth and he just kinda points at random things and goes, 'what do?'
He may be a little OOC.

"(Name)?" Sendak asked as he peeked out from the room he was in. You turned to look at him.

"Yes?" You asked. He stared at you as though he was confused about something.

"You haven't slept in the past two days. I thought Humans needed regular rest?" He questioned. You scratched the back of your head nervously.

"Uh- well we do. It's just I've been busy the past few days. It's okay though. I have tomorrow off so I can catch up on my rest then." You state. Sendak frowns before moving to lean beside you.

"You should sleep." He says as he places a hand on your shoulder. You sigh and look up at him.

"I just need a few more minutes" you informed him and he frowned before shutting the computer. You turned to look at him, ready to challenge him but he simply ignore you and sat down, pulling you into his lap.

"Would you like me to sing you a song? I've heard that helps you relax" he questioned and you shook your head allowing him to just hold you. "Goodnight (Name)"

"(Name)! Your hand is swelling up! Are you injured?!" Sendak exclaimed as he took your hand. You flinched slightly at the sudden  pain that shot through your hand.

"Uh- well not to the extent you may be thinking." You examined your hand before seeing what the problem was. You quickly pull out the bees stinger and put it in the palm of your hand.

"Does that have poison in it?" Sendak asked and you laughed before shaking your head.

"This is a stinger. To some people it's deadly but it's fine. Im allergic to them but not to the extent that I'll die. It'll just take a while to stop swelling. I'm fine though." You looked around before crouching down and pointing at something on the ground. Sendak leaned down and stared at what you are pointing at.

"That's what stung me." You say while dropping the stinger on the ground. Sendak gasped and wrapped his arms around you protectively.

"(Name)! You shouldn't not be near it!" You sent him a sad smile before looking back at it.

"It's fine. When it stung me it died. You see when a Bumble Bee stings something or someone it's killing itself. When a Bumble Bee stinger shoots out of its body the rest of its insides kinda follows it. It's sad actually. But then you have wasps and all those that can sting all they want. They're the real evil ones here" Sendak stared at the Bee before looking at you.

"Earth is confusing" you laughed at that.

Sendak stopped walking so he could stare at a man a few feet away from the two of you. He frowned before looking at you.

"I don't understand. If what you said is true. If smoking is bad for you then why do people do it?" He asked. You looked up from your phone to look at him before looking to see who he was speaking of.

"Sometimes it makes life easier for people. It takes the stress away for just a moment. It gives them energy to push through whatever situation they're going through. Though, sometimes it is just an experiment. Some teenagers just do it because they want to try it out but by the time they're in their adulthood they're already addicted and can't quit." You sighed before shrugging. "Old habits die hard"

"You sound like you're speaking from experience" Sendak said while looking at you. You smiled and shrugged your shoulders.

"Maybe I am. C'mon. The supermarket's going to close if we don't hurry"

Sendak slowly began walking beside you. He didn't know how he felt about you doing something bad to your body.

"(Name)! Why are you crying!?" Sendak gasped as he quickly made his way to you. You shook your head and showed him a picture. Sendak hesitantly took his eyes off of you to look at the picture. It was a picture of a woman holding a child and grinning from ear to ear at the camera. "I don't understand. You're saddened of a picture of a woman and a child?" You laughed at the way he had put it and leaned against him.

"Yea- I mean I guess I am. She's a friend of mine. A few years ago she was told there was a low chance of survive due to her cancer but here she is. Married with a child." You pulled the letter that was behind the picture and read over the words for the third time. "I'm so happy for her. Living her life." Sendak nodded in fake understanding. He didn't quite understand what made you cry exactly but he figured it must be good if you were smiling so much.

Sendak stared at the two people across from him making out in their seats. You came back from ordering the two of you drinks and placed his in front of him while you moved to sit across from him.

"What are those people doing that?" He asked while pointing to the couple behind you. You turned to see what he was pointing at before choking on your drink and quickly turning back around. You put your cup on the table and took a moment to calm yourself from blushing at such a scene.

"Do you not kiss where you come from?" You asked coughing slightly to get rid of your cracking voice. Sendak frowned before looking back trying to remember what his life was like.

"-no. I don't ever remember doing, or seeing, such a thing" he said as he continued to stare at the couple. You waved your hand in the air to get his attention.

"Don't look at them- it's not really respectful to do such a thing. You usually just try to ignore it when it happens. Usually making out like that is used for more personal activities but if they want to do it here they have all the right just... some people may not agree with it." You glance over your shoulder before looking back at Sendak.

"I do not see the point in it though" he said, staring at you.

"It's a way to show endearment. You know, show the one that you're in a relationship with that you love them." You shrugged and Sendak nodded slowly. He understood that.

"(Name)" Sendak called and you looked at him taking a sip of your drink.

"Hm?" Sendak reached over and glanced over your shoulder before pulling you in for a kiss. He pressed his lips to yours while he kept a hand on your wrist to keep your hand, and the drink you had in it, on the table. He pulled away after a moment and you stared at him bewildered.

"You're- uh usually supposed to do that with someone you like" You said trying to regain your composure.

"I did."

"No- like someone you really really like."

"I did."

You couldn't even speak to him while you covered your face in embarrassment.

"I could get used to kissing you" he said and you groaned while his lips held a prominent smirk.

"Alright I'll be right back with our coffee" you said as you departed from your companions side. He nodded and sat down at a table in the corner.

His eyes lingered on you, watching over you in a way. He wouldn't let anything happen to you on his watch. His ears twitched when he saw you linger at the counter for a little longer than you usually did. He saw the person at the counter lean a little more closer while you waited for your drinks. Sendak slowly rose to his seat and made his way through the small cafe before standing beside you. His baseball cap covering most of his face while the scarf, coat, gloves and all the other essentials helped cover his purple body. Since it was winter nobody would question it but you wondered what you would do in the spring.

Another thought for another day.

Sendak wrapped his arm around your waist as he pulled you close. The cashier quickly took a step back. Compared to Sendak, the cashier was puny. You smiled sweetly at him and leaned into his touch.

"I do not understand. If (Name) is already in a relationship why are you trying to talk to her in such a... flirtatious manner?" He questioned and you wrapped your arm around Sendak's waist, as much as you could, before explaining.

"It's not like they know who I am." You smiled up at Sendak. "They didn't know I already had a boyfriend. It's not their fault." The cashier shakily hands you your drinks and both you and Sendak take the drinks. He hums in understanding but continues to glare at the cashier.

"I see..."

"You're so soft" you whisper as you nuzzle into Sendak's fur. He blushes in embarrassment as he tries to form words.

"It's normal with my people" he exclaimed. "Much like skin is for your people" he said and you grinned before nuzzling further into him. He couldn't help but let a rare smile grace his lips. He trailed his down your face to your jaw before tilting it upward. You looked at him and he was quick to lean down and press his lips to your own. His lips moved in sync against your own as you filled him closer. He wrapped his arms around your waist and deepened the kiss. He slowly pulled away before placing a kiss to your forehead. "I love you (Name)" he whispered.

"I love you too" you confessed as you kissed his jaw.
