"It's just like you to be out here so late" you sighed as you sat beside him, a fire crackling in front of you two. It radiates some warmth from it.

"And it's so unlike you to see you awake at this time. Why are you awake?" He slowly brings his arm around your shoulders and pulling you beside him.

"I was without your companionship." You joked, leaning into his touch, resting your head on his shoulder. His hand that resting your shoulder moved and began to gently tangle itself into your hair. The tips of his mouth curled upward as he listened to your small hum of pleasure.

"Was it another nightmare?" He questioned quietly. There was silence as you sat up, moving away from him. The only noise was the cracking of the wood in the fire. He took in your features. Your eyes had bags under them from the lack of sleep, your hands twitching from the amount of coffee you've been consuming and your delayed movements. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked carefully. You turned to look at him, boring into his eyes.

"No I just want to be near you" you whispered and he nodded, reaching over and taking your hand in his own. He rubbed small circles into the back of your hands as he continued to stare at you before saying,

"How about I sleep with you?" He offered. A small smile graced his lips when he saw you look at him in surprise. Your eyes wide with wonder as you searched his face, thinking it was simply a joke. "We don't have to but perhaps that way you may be able to get some rest"

"...alright" you squeezed his hand, leaning against him as he slowly rose up. The two of you move towards your small bed and lay down, the fire left unattended as Obi laid down with you, his arms wrapped around you as he rested his chin on the crown of your head.

"Sleep (Name). I will be here when you wake" he whispered as he placed a kiss on your forehead. You smiled, wrapping your own arms around him.

"Thank you Obi..."
