You smiled as Cody used another one of his lame pick up lines to try and 'swoon' you. You were laying down beside. He was sitting up fiddling with his phone looking down at you.

"You know you don't need to use those lame pick up lines" You chimed as you wrapped your arms around his waist. He let out a nervous laugh and scratches the back of his neck.

"They're not that bad" He said. You held back a laugh as you rolled your eyes.

"You're right. They're horrible" you said as you nuzzled your head into his chest. He frowned 

"Come on (Name)! You can't say they aren't part of my charm." He said with confidence. You smiled.

"I like the dorky side of you better to be honest" You told him, your voice muffled because of your face still nuzzled into his chest. He blushed and finally dropped his phone so he could wrapped his arms around you. He wasn't quite sure what to say.  So he decided on  pulling you closer and whispering into your ear.

"I love you too (Name)"

Your lips twitched up as you removed your face from his chest and turned your head to look at him.

"I love you" You told him. Giving him confidence to do the next move. He removed his hands from your waist and placed them on your face so he could pull your head closer to his. And with a boost of confidence he kissed you
