Two Years.

Two damn years since the last time you had seen Lavi.

The two of you had been seperated when you had all been attacked by the Noahs. The war had gone on for such a long time. You weren't successful but you had managed to force the Noah's back for  a while. 

So when you had finally seen Lavi, your boyfriend for over five years, you had been overtaken with emotion. You had tried to hold it back because, as much as you loved him, you didn't want to look desperate. However, that all changed when he turned to see you standing before him. His arms let go of Allen and he dropped his weapon. His expression changed from happy to desperation and he ran towards you, his arms opened wide to hold you. You ran towards him and when you were close enough you wrapped your arms around him as tight as you could. His arms grapsed at your form as if he couldn't believe you were there with him. The two of you held each other so close you pondered if you would get a few bruises.

"Lavi..." You whispered into his neck as you allowed the tears to flow from your eyes. You missed him so damn much. His grip on you tightened.

"(Name)" He gasped out as he pulled back just enough to kiss you with desperation. You felt a sense of bliss as you felt his lips on your own. It had been too long. When the two of you pulled away you gently wiped his tears away.

"I thought Bookmen weren't supposed to cry" You said, laughing weakly. You couldn't believe he was right in front of you. His hands were on your hips. He lifted one hand to genly draw his knuckles under your eye to wipe away your tears.

"They do when they haven't seen someone they love in two years" He said weakly. Your hand gripped his and slowly you intertwined your fingers together before kissing him once again.

"Can't those two get a room?" Kanda grumbled before Allen elbowed him in the gut to shut him up. Both him and Lenalee watched the two of you hold eachother in awe.
