You were running late for your first period class. Also known as your home room. As you were running down the hallway to get to your art class, you were holding onto your art project. You decided to do it last minute which means you had to stay up all last night just so you could finish it. You were supposed to build something that was unique to you, and since you didn't want to make it look like you half-assed it you worked the whole night making Thousand Origami Cranes all carefully tied together. You even made the effort to make them in different colours, and made it colour coordinate. If you didn't get an A plus plus you were going to freak. As you running down the hallway you took a sharp turn and collided right into your long time friend Ryu Yamada. Now you normally would have been happy to see him, but not only was today a very stressful morning but you crumpled up some of the Origami Cranes. 

"Whoa! (Name) are you alright?" He asked as he held his hand out to you. You took it and yanked him down to your level as you grabbed onto his shoulders and shook him.

"Ryu!! What did you do! Noo! I'm gonna die!" You continuously shook him as you stared at your cranes. He stared at you confused. He turned to see the Origami Cranes that you worked so hard to do. He cringed at the sight of them. He knew how dedicated you were to getting perfect on everything. He slowly removed your hands from his shoulders and gently took the Cranes, then pulled you up to your feet.

"(Name) It's okay! Just trust me." He said with a grin, and a thumbs up. You looked at him confused, and he helped fix the crumpled Origami Cranes. You looked at him surprised. You watched as his hands caressed the crumpled wing of the Origami Crane, and fixed it.

He held it out to you with a grin. You gently took it, and spun it around looked at how perfect it was. It looked as though nothing had happened to it.

"Ryu... Where did you learn to do Origami Cranes??" You said amazed. 

"You mean you don't remember? You taught me it when we were in middle school. It helped me with my random outbursts of anger..." He said as he scratched the back of his neck. You smiled at the memory of the two of you. 

"Wow. I really am amzing!" You said with a smile. Ryu rolled his eyes. He looked at you.

"(Name)... I really want to tell you something." He said and you looked up at him. 

"Yea Ryu? What is it?" You asked.

"Well I really-" He was cut off by the bell.

"Oh my gosh!! I am so sorry Ryu! I have to go! Thanks for helping me out!" You yelled as you ran to your classroom. He sighed and walked the other way. He was going to tell you today... for sure.

Throught the day everytime he went to talk to you, you were pulled off to do another errand. You often yelled out an apology before you were gone. 

By the time the end of the day came around you had looked all over for Ryu, but you figured that he left early like he usually did, so you went to your shoe locker and opened it. You were surprised to see a small Origami Crane there. it was your favourite colour as well. You smiled and held it. You saw that there were words on the wing of it.

Come Meet Me At The Park

You smiled, and quickly canged your shoes before making your way to the park. Once you were close enough to see the blue mop of hair you ran towards him, and jumped onto his back. He let out a small yell of protest but once he heard your laughter he looked to see your face on his shoulder.

"Hey Ryu~" You hummed. He rolled his eyes at you.

"Hey (Name)"

"What did you need to talk about?" You asked and jumped off of his back. He lookd over at you before shakily placing his hands onto your shoulders. You looked at him confused. "Ryu-"

"I like you! And I want to take you on a date" He yelled. You could see him shaking, and you could see just a bit of a blush on his face. You giggled at him.

"Sure Ryu! I'd love too! Let's go right now!!" You said as you linked arms with him. He seemed surprised, but quickly regained his composure. 

"I knew you'd say yes" He said.

"Of course you did Ryu. Of course you did" You chimed as you two walked down the street.
