"You haven't been sleeping" you said, walking into his room. The white haired boy turned his head, glancing at you, before turning his attention back to the computer in front of him.

"I do not require much sleep to function" he said as he hummed to himself. You turned your head to look at some of the games that he had on the shelves. You grabbed a simple rubix cube, messing it up, you placed it in front of him.

"I will leave you alone if you can solve this in less than a minute" you said as you took a step back. Near looked up at you, scanning your face before he took the rubix cube into his hands. He looked it over before looking up at you once again, as if he didn't believe you. He flicked the cube around in his hands, turning the colours and soon enough he finished it, holding it up to you.

"Finished" was all he said before turning his gaze back to the computer.

"It took you two minutes to do that" you said, the edges of your lips tugged down as you took the cube from his hand. "Sleep Near. If I know anything I know that you can solve this issue after eight hours of sleep" you gently rested your hands on his shoulders after putting the rubix cube down on the desk. "Please?". His shoulders slouched as he turned to look at you, his eyes boring into yours as he nodded. You grinned standing back as he got up off the chair and walked with you to your room.

"Thank you Near" you whispered as you laid down, he rested his head on the pillow next to you, nodding at your statement.

"Goodnight (Name)" he said as he pulled the covers up and closed your eyes, seemingly to fall asleep instantly as you smiled. Your slowly reached over and took his hand in your own and closed your own eyes.

You were sure that you felt a definite squeeze just before you managed to fall into a deep slumber.
