"Sorry I'm late." Bastion said as he walked into the room where you, Syrus, Jaden, and Alexis "I was doing some... things" He said as he sat down beside you.

"I'm things." You said as you placed a card down on the ground where you and Jaden were playing a card game. Alexis let out a small bark of laughter as Syrus looks at you surprised and Jaden laughs along with Alexis.

"(N-Name)!" Bastion yells at you flustered and you let out a small laugh.

"Aw come on! You know that one was good" You say and he covers his face with his hands.

"You know that's inappropriate!" He yells and you shrug.

"Sorry mom." You tease and he frowns. Jaden puts down a card and you quickly placed down another one, officially winning the game.

"Aw! Come onnn!" Jaden groans as he falls back onto the ground. "You always win (Name)!" Jaden groans.

"I'm sure you'll beat me soon Jaden" You say with a smile.

"I don't understand why you haven't been offered a spot in the Obelisk Blue dormitory" Syrus says and Alexis looks at you and frowns before she glances at Syrus.

"What do you mean?" She asked and you quickly looked at her making motiones for her to stop talking. "(Name) was offered a spot in Obelisk Blue. She refused it. She said she wanted to stay in the Ra Yellow..." She looked at you and saw that you faced palmed.

"what..?" Bastion looked at you "Why didn't you take it (Name)?!" He asked.

"Yea (Name)! Why didn't you?" Jaden asked leaning in. You began collecting your cards before you looked at Bastion and shrugged.

"I have my reasons." 

"So... Why didn't you take the position?" Bastion asked once no one else was around and it was just the two of you walking back to your dorms.

"Seriously? Again" You groan out but Bastion makes no comment. "Alright-" You stood in front of him. "I refused because I like being around you. Sure if I was in Obelisk Blue I wouldn't be that far but. I just like being able to walk with you to our classes, being able to sit beside you, being able to slack off" You look at him with a small smile. "You're my saftey net Bastion" You say with a small smile. He smiles and wraps his arms around you.

"Well I'm glad you didn't leave (Name). I don't think I would have known what to do without you" He said and you laughed before you pressed a kiss to his lips.

"I know" You say and Bastion rolls his eyes before he kisses you.
