You always thought it was adorable the way he would stumble over his words and blush around you. To be honest that was what made you fall in love with him. He was usually a brash and bold guy. He would chase after people in vengeance and beat them with his bat and fire. You always enjoyed watching him go after someone. 

"Well, I'm leaving now everyone," You say as you grab your jacket and slip it on. "Goodnight and thank you," You say before you open the door to leave. There is some mumbling behind you before you hear a yell and stumbling. You turn behind you to see Yato standing a few feet away from you. You smile at the red haired male. "Did you need something?" You ask.

"I-I'll walk you home!" He exclaimed blushing. 

"Thank you Yata. I'd like that" You tell him before exiting the bar. The young boy trailed beside you. He was obviously uncomfortable so you tried to relax the boy with random jokes and stories that you could think of at the time. He smiled every now and again and you smiled at him.

"(Name)!" He grabbed the back of your jacket and yanked you back just as some boys came speeding down the street with their bikes. They laughed ignorant at the danger they had caused. "Those bastards-" He growled. You placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Man you really saved me there Yata. Thanks so much. I guess you really are my knight in shining armor" You chimed as you shrugged. The boy stared at you before his whole face turned a crimson red. "Hey- Whoa are you okay? You look sick." You ask he nods quickly.

"Fine- just fine" He says as he looks away.

"Wait- No way! You're embarrassed?!" You say looking at the boy. "Oh my gosh that is adorable!" 

"Oh my god" He whispered as he covered his face with his hands.

"Yata you are so precious oh my god" You said as you wrapped your arms around him. He stiffened at your touch. 

"(Name)-" You cut him off with a quick kiss to his cheek. He looked at you bewildered. 

"Take that as thanks for now." You say smiling at him. he blushes as he looks at the ground.

"Could I kiss you?" He asks and you let go of him to move in front of him.

"I'd love it if you did." You say and without a second thought he cups your face and kisses you. Sadly, the kiss only lasts for a second before he rides off on his skateboard. You touch your lips before you let a laugh escape your lips. "He didn't even walk me all the way home"
