Gabriel X Reader (Supernatural)

"It tastes so good!" You gasped as you took another bite of the cake that stood in front of you. "Gabriel!" You turned to face the man as you held out a piece for him. "Would you like a piece?" He looked up from his seat on the couch. Grinning, he stood up and trailed over.

"Actually..." his hands found your waist and rested them there as he used one of his hands to grab the plate. He reached over and put it on the table. "I would prefer a piece of you actually" he whispered against your lips as he pulled you into a kiss. He never understood the reason for kissing however, he did know it was a way of showing affection. It was also because when he pulled you against him, his hands on your hips and his lips on your own he could see the way you just looked at him with love. Not the same love he had been smothered with and not the same love people gave him when they prayed. It was love. Your love. And he adored it.

"Gabriel" you murmured against his lips. He grinned as he pulled away, a satisfied look in his eyes as he looked at you.

"You taste delicious" he hummed as he pressed one last kiss to your lips before trailing away, his hands lingering for just a moment longer before he grabbed his piece of cake and walked away. He couldn't taste anything. He couldn't taste the way the cake tasted or how you tasted but he didn't care. He didn't care because the look of hopefulness you gave him every time you made something for the two of him made his heart melt. It was hard to tell you that he couldn't taste your cooking when you were so happy, and willing, to give it to him. So he grabbed the fork and ate a piece of the cake he couldn't taste and complimented you on your cooking so he could see your smile.
