I really shouldn't be here. That's the first thing you think of as you scramble backwards. Lily, who's blocking a sword from cutting you in half, stands a few feet in front of you, protecting you to the best of his ability.  You're also extremely confused because this Lily isn't your Lily. At least, he doesn't look like it. The way his eyes flash in anger, showing an expression you once believed the boy could never bear.

You're even more confused when he explains his situation to you. He apologizes to you, he had kept it from you for a year and a half now. He had been slipping from casual outfit to his uniform, secret dates, quiet whispers.  He was the reason the man had attacked you.

"I'm sorry" he finally says, his voiced plagued with distress. You frowned, reaching over to to take his hand in your own.

"Lily. Have you been lying about this this whole time? Have you simply been acting?" You asked, your voice quiet and even trembling as you asked the question. Your hands continuing to grip his own.

"No! I wasn't! I promise." He said quickly, fearing he had lost you. "I love you (Name) I truly do."

"Then I don't care what you are. I care about who you are. I fell in love with you Lily for you." You pressed your forehead to his own, closing your eyes as he whispered, "I love you Lily". Your voice sent a shiver down his spine. You were whispering to him as if he was world, as though the only person in the world that mattered was him. He let go of one of your hands so he could wrap it around your waist and pull you closer, kissing you on the lips. It was a desperate kiss. His hands aching to touch you more but he settled on this for now.

When the two of you pulled away he kept his eyes on you for a moment longer before he nuzzled his face into your neck. Your hands wrapped around his waist as you rested her head on his.

"I love you so much (Name)"
