"And he just never listens! I mean he's supposed to be the pilot. Why does he never think things through!" Pidge exclaimed as they ran their hands through their hair. "I mean- I get it- Sometimes on the battle field you need to be quick witted and, yes, sometimes you do need to make rash decisions but he just goes over board (Name). Over board!" Pidge sat down beside you and leaned onto your shoulder. You wrapped your arm around their waist.

"I'm sorry you feel like that, but-" Pidge groans as they hears the word, 'but'. You were always one to look on the bright side of situations and, yes, at times it was nice. But while they were complaining about their team mates they didn't want to hear anything positive about them. "-You seem happier with them. They seem like a fun group." You lean in to whisper into their ear, despite the two of you being along in Pidge's room. "My team mates are so boring. All they do is complain. They're no fun at all" You sigh. "You hit your head right? Is it alright?" You ask as you gently lace your fingers through Pidge's hair. They hum in response and lean into your touch. 

"This isn't the first time they've done something that stupid. Hunk threw up again today" Pidge sighs as they lean further into your side. 

"If you keep sighing you're going to grow grey hair" You hum as you ruffle their hair. They make a sound of annoyance as they lean away from you, pouting. You laugh lightly at their expression. "Come on. Let's go up to the roof. I want to look up at the stars." You say as you take their hand. Pidge jumps up and begins rumaging around the room. Once they have everything they look up at you with a large smile. 

"Okay let's go"

"Yea- I went through Pidge's bag and after I found the picture of his girlfriend-" Hunk held up a picture of Katie and their brother, Matt, standing side by side. 

"She's not my girlfriend!" Pidge exclaimed as they took the picture from Hunk. Before Hunk had the chance to speak up you chose to speak,

"You know Pidge, your girlfriend is pretty cute. You should introduce me sometime." You say as you wink at them. Pidge blushed as you covered your mouth, trying to hide your laughter. The rest of the team looked at you two curiously.

"Wait! (Name)!" Lance yelled out as he looked at you and Pidge, together. You turned your attention from Pidge to Lance. The rest of the team looked at Lance in confusion.

"Yes?" 

"You knew that Pidge was a girl this whole time, right?" Lance asked, squinting at you. Keith groaned and dragged his hand down his face.

"Lance, everyone but you knew Pidge was a girl." Keith snapped out. Lance glared at him. However, you didn't allow Lance to have a chance. You quickly spoke.

"Yes I did. Why do you ask?" 

"While we were in keiths stupid house-" Keith gasped at Lances words but, lance ignored him. "You said that Pidge's girlfriend was cute. But wasn't that Pidge?" He asked confused. Pidge blushed and looked up at you, daring you to say it. 

"Well yea. I think Pidge is adorable" You say as you smile down at them. Pidge lunged towards you, you happily laughed and jumped out of the way. "They hate it when I say it though" You say while Pidge tries to jump you again, their face aflame. Allura and Shiro can't help but aw at the scene. They're so happy for their space children.

Pidge stormed over to you. They grabbed the collars of your shirt and roughly pulled you down to their size. They glared at you, all they could see was red. They were beyound furious. The rest of the team froze when they saw how angry Pidge was.

"What you did out there was stupid! What were you thinking!?" Pidge yelled as their grip on your collars tightened. "You were so stupid! Thinking you can just go in and fight against the Galra soilders... You weren't trained for any of this (Name)!" Pidge yelled. When they rested their attention on your expression, they were surprised to see you looking dejected.

"None of us were" You tell Pidge, before smiling. You gently take their hands in yours and remove them from the collars on your shirt. "None of us expected this to happen Pidge. However, it did and whether you want me fighting or not, I'm going to fight. I'm not going to allow you to fight on your own. If I can to something I will." You place a gentle kiss to their head before pulling away. "If I can protect you, I will. I love you Pidge" You grin when Pidge blushes. You laugh, softly before walking away. The rest of the group watched you walk away. 

Pidge apologized profusely later that night as they sobbed into your chest. They felt like an idiot. You were just fighting for what you believe in and they got mad at you....

Pidge tiredly rubbed their eyes as they continued to type away at their computer. When was the last time they had slept a full night? Two maybe three days? Everyone was worried about Pidge.

"I'm worried about their health...." Hunk sighed as he ate his green goo. You frowned looking at the boy across from you.

"I've been trying to convince Pidge to sleep but..." Allura sighs as she leans into her hand. "They're not listening." Shiro looks amung his team mates. They were all so worried about Pidge. Keith hummed as he tapped his plate with his spoon.

"Should we put some knock out powder into Pidge's food?" Lance's asks and you choke on the water you were drinking. 

"Lance, usually you have pretty good ideas but no. We are not knocking out my partner. I'm just going to coax them into bed." You say before getting up from your seat. Lance shrugs and eats some more of his goo. Shiro wishes you goodluck as he watches you leave the room.

"Pidge?" You called out as you entered their room. Pidge sat at their desk tapping endlessly away at the computer. They yawned and turned to you.

"Hey (Name). What's up?" They ask tiredly, you could see the bags under their eyes. What got you was Pidge's hands. They were shaking, ever so lightly. You slammed your hands against their desk.

"That's it!" You yelled. Pidge jumped back, they were surprised at your sudden outburst. You turned their chair so it faced you. "You are going to bed right now." You growled and Pidge looked at you. 

"Whoa- wait- Why?-" You wrapped your arms around their waist and hoisted them up over your shoulder. They yelled out profanities as you left their room. It was far too dirty to sleep in there. Bits and pieces of mechines, oils stanes, and tools were scattered everywhere. Even on their bed. You took Pidge to you room before you placed them on your bed. 

"I'm tired, you're obviously tired. You haven't slept for, what, two days?" You say before sliding in beside them. 

"(Name) I have to work on-" You silenced them with placing your lips on theirs. That shut them up, real quick. You ran your hands through their hair before pulling away. 

"Sleep." You say. Slowly, Pidge agrees. They wrap their arms around you and you slither closer to them. 

Two hours later you woke up to getting punched in the face. You should have put a pillow in between the two of you.
