Sehun X Reader (EXO)

"Excuse me" Sehun's heart dropped when he heard the voice behind him call out to him. Yes, he adored his fans, however, at times he would rather just spend time with his friends, or alone. He turned to face you and saw you glancing nervously at a piece of paper held in your hand. "I'm sorry to bother you. I'm not from around here and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction" you showed him a piece of paper and scribbled on it was the name of a famous cafe. He looked you over, your Korean wasn't that bad but he could still pick out the faults in it. Your fidgeting worsened as he continued to stare at you behind your glasses. He looked over the paper before nodding.

"I was actually heading there myself. Would you like some company?" A lie, he was heading somewhere completely different but you were a stranger in a different country and in a way he was curious about you. You smiled gently and nodded your head.

"I would love that. Thank you!" You exclaimed as you put the note in your pocket. The two of you walked down the street as he asked you questions about where you were from.

"So... why did you come here?" He asked you. You smiled and he couldn't help but let a small smile grace his lips as he watched you search for the right words to use.

"I'm helping teach English" you paused before saying, "at building where children are...!" You said as you tried to think of the word for school.

"School?" He said and you snapped your finger and nodded at him.

"Yes school! I was going to school at England. It was a good program. For Co-Op I was given a chance to come to Korea to teach English." You smiled as you spun around. "I've never been to this part of Korea! It is amazing! Beautiful!" You exclaimed as you waved your hands around. He laughed lightly and pointed to a shop a few feet away.

"There's our stop" he said. He held the door open for you and the two of you stepped in. You two were brought to a table and given menu's.

"Is there anything you suggest?" You asked as you looked over the menu. You were able to register some of the words but a few you had an issue of understanding. When he nodded his head you beamed. Never have you been so grateful.

"So how's teaching going? Are you liking it?" He questioned as he leaned forward. You nodded eagerly.

"Yes! Very much! The children are wonderful! They ask many questions about England!" You looked at him before asking, "I'm sorry. I've been talking about me all day. What do you do?" You asked.

"Well I-"

"Hello! What can I get for you?" The waitress came up, smiling. Sehun leaned away from you, looking at the menu before saying something and the lady nodded before looking over at you.

"She'll have the same me" he stated. You smiled sheepishly at the lady as she nodded and scribbled down on her paper before leaving the two of you. "I don't believe I never caught your name"

"Oh! Yes. It's (Name)!" You exclaimed as you folded your menu up and placed it at the edge of the table. You smiled while looking at him. "May I ask yours?"

"My name is Oh Sehun but you can call me Sehun" he stated as he too folded up his menu and placed it on top of yours.

"Sehun..." you repeated, looking down as you mumbled the name a few times before looking over at him. "Am I saying it correctly? Sehun?" He laughed and nodded. You were so innocent in a way.

"Yes. Am I saying your name correctly? (Name)?" He asked. You nodded your head and he smiled at you.

The two of you spent the afternoon talking as long as you could, getting to know each other before his phone rang, interrupting your conversation. He mumbled an apology before answering it. You realized then just how slow he had been talking to you, so you could understand him more clearly.

"I'm sorry I have to go" he said before pausing. "But may I get your e-mail? I suppose it would be easier to get that than your actual number. You know... since you have to pay for distance..." he trailed off, embarrassed at his words.

"Of course! May I see your phone?" You asked as you held out your own. "You can put your contact in my phone and I'll put mine in yours!" The two of you exchanged emails before you both paid and left the cafe.

You got a email when you got home and when you opened it you couldn't help but grin as you read over the message again.

'If you would like I could show you some of Korea's tourist attractions? I had a lot of fun today. I would love to hang out with you again'
