Celestia Ludenberg X Reader (Danganronpa)

Celestia didn't understand why exactly but she felt as though she had to protect you. She wanted to keep you safe from everyone and everything at this school. When she won, she wanted you to be at her side. However, a part of her knew that that may be impossible. Keeping you away from danger was hard enough, keeping you alive till the end may not even be possible. She wondered the halls, in search for you. You always seemed to disappear on her. At first she would panic, running around in search for you, but then she would find you idling chatting with another student.

"They're not bad" you'd say to her as she would tug you away from the student. "Isn't it good to have friends? I mean in situations like these it's nice to know people have someone to depend on" you would smile at her in an attempt to get her to listen to you, to side with you, but she would look away.

She found you talking with Naegi Makoto, a rather nice student. She didn't mind his company and seeing him with you made her feel better. She knew that he wouldn't hurt you. She watched at the two of you laughed quietly about something. They're the same, she thought as she continued to stare at you two. The way you both talked like nothing had happened, the way that the two of you tried to befriend everyone. It's like the two of you were one of the same. She felt her chest tightened as she thought about what would happen to the two of you. She wondered how you would react if you found out that Naegi had died. He was one of the only other sane people here, he was probably keeping you sane just by talking with him. Then you moved, seeing her gaze on the two of you you waved to him and left him to join her.

"Hey Celestia" you called as you stood in front of her. "How are you?" You asked. She smiled at you before tilting her head to the side.

"Good. How are you?" She asked. You smiled at her. You nodded silently and looked over her before your eyes flickered away.

"Good." You said, a little too quickly, she looked over herself and sucked in a breath when she saw a bit of blood on her clothing. Perhaps she should have been a little more couscous about the blood. You never did like seeing it. She gently took your arm.

"Hey..." her voice was soft, as though she was coaxing a frightened child. "Why don't we play a card game? What's that game called you like? Crazy eights? Why don't we see if we can get some of the other students to play?" She saw your eyes light up before you nodded eagerly.

"I'll be right back" you said before dashing off. She felt so stupid for suggesting such a game. However, seeing your eyes light up at her words made her heard skip a beat. Yes- she was in love. In love with you but right now, with all of this killing, there was truly no time for love. As she watched you ask Naegi if he wanted to play she felt her lips twitch upwards. Yes- not now but soon.
