I am Akashi Haruna and I'm dating the most popular guy in school...Inoo Kei. Today we are having our date to celebrate our 2 month anniversary. I'm so excited.

Inoo's POV
*on the phone*

"Hey man you know we have a limit on how long you can date someone right?" My friend Yabu said.

"Yep and it's ending tonight. It wasn't even that fun to be honest. Oh well there's a whole line of girls waiting for me. Who cares about this one." I said.

"True. Anyway man I gotta go. See ya later." He said and hung up.

I may be the most popular guy in school but I'm a heartbreaker. I get fun out of seeing people cry. I don't know why I just do. Oh well I don't care anymore.

Haruna's POV
I walked into the restaurant and saw Inoo there waiting for me but he seemed conflicted.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked.

"I need to tell you something." He said with a sad face making me worried.

"What is it?" I asked.

"..."

"You're making me nervous. Please tell me?"

"I think...we should...break up." He said. I could feel my heart shattering into a million pieces. I mean he was the only guy who ever liked me. 

"But I don't understand. What's wrong with me?"

"Nothing. I just...never cared about you from the start." He said beginning to laugh.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked beginning to cry.

"Do you really think someone would ever like you? I mean c'mon I played you like a fiddle. I'm the most popular guy and school and you fell for my little scam." He said.

"YOU ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON!!!" I shouted throwing a drink in his face and walked out.

When I got home I was crying my eyes out...alone. I was living by myself since my parents were in America for the time being for work. The only friend I had was Arioka Daiki. He lived across the hall and he heard me crying and came walking in.

"What's wrong Haru?" He asked.

"Inoo just ripped my heart out and stomped on it." I said.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"He said he never loved me and that no one could ever love me."

"That is not true." He said trying to help me feel better.

"I appreciate you trying to help me feel better but has anyone ever loved me?" I asked.

Dai-chan's POV
"I've loved you this entire time. So don't say that." I thought to myself. I've loved her forever and it hurts me to see her like this. It really does. I'm going to knock that kid out cold.

"I'll tell you what. Since it's not to late I'm going to take you out for ice cream. You can get as much as you want. I mean ice cream is the best comfort food." I said.

"True. Thanks so much Dai-chan." She said wiping her tears and heading towards the door.

"No problem. I mean what kind of friend would I be if I didn't do at least this much." I said leading beg out the door.

The next day was Monday. As soon as I saw the Inoo guy I knocked him a good one.

"Take this you bastard! That's for breaking Haruna's heart." I shouted.

"Oh well then I think we have ourselves a new target." His group of friends emerged from the corner of the bathroom.

"What do you want?!" I shouted.

"Oh nothing we are just angry and need a punching bag and well you seem like a good one." They said and grabbed me by my arms.

"Hey let me go!" I shouted.

"No." He said and began to punch me...hard.

After about 30 minutes or so he stopped punching me and dropped me. I just kind of laid there and then passed out. When I woke up I was in Haruna's arms.

"H-Haruna is that you?" I asked.

"Yea it's me. Are you okay? No, what were you thinking?!" She shouted trying to scold me.

"You know that you can't scold me right. You just aren't the type." I said beginning to laugh.

"You're right but seriously are you okay?" She asked.

"I am now. I beat that guy up so I'm good."

"Why'd you do that?" She asked.

"Because he hurt you." I said.

"I know but..."

"I need to tell you something." I began.

"Yea?" She asked.

"I'm in love with you. I have been all this time." I said.

"Really?"

"Yes and I'm not like that Inoo kid. I hereby make an oath to love and cherish you for the rest of your life. I promise to never leave your side or break your heart. I'm sorry but I think you are stuck with me." I said.

"I love you too. I trust you. I trust and believe your promises." She said.

"Thank you." I said and then kissed her.

"Hey!" Inoo walked in shouting.

"What?!" I shouted back.

"She was my girlfriend." He said.

"You broke up with her." I said.

"Yea but...that was because my friends wouldn't allow me to date her." He said.

"Well you're too late. I already have her and I'm never loosing her." I said.

"Yep sorry Inoo." She said.

Haruna's POV
At that moment I was truly happy. I was happy to be with someone who actually loved me. It was nice to be in love and still is.
