"Has Al being acting weird? She's been acting weird, right?" I asked Jeff randomly as we were playing Grand Theft Auto
"I thought I was the only one who noticed!" He exclaimed
"I feel like every time I see her, she's just refreshing that stupid Instagram account" I told him "And I get it, the first post was bad and it was clearly a direct attack to her but at the same time they've made a bunch of other posts and none of them have been about her" I added
"Right" Jeff replied "I understand how much that first post must have caused drama but obsessing over this isn't good" He said as he paused our game
"Man! I was beating your ass, why did you pause it?!" I questioned him
"I'm going to tell you something but you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone else" Jeff looked at me
"Alright" I simply answered, curious to know what he's about to tell me
"Montgomery, I need you to promise me" Jeff said
I rolled my eyes
"I promise" I groaned
"Okay so two days ago, I went to meet Thia and Jess at Monet's and they obviously didn't know that I was right behind them but they were trying to figure out who the person behind the account was" He told me
"What? Why would they waste their time on that?" I questioned him
"That's not even the best part yet..." Jeff trailed off
I looked at him and waited for him to continue
"They were talking about how someone might have heard them when they were line somewhere and then they said that it could be Courtney or even Ryan and they said a couple other names and then I acted like I just showed up and they stopped talking about it" He told me
"What? That makes no sense" I shook my head "Aren't they good friends with Ryan? Why would they think he's the one behind the account?" I asked him
"RIGHTTTTTTT" Jeff yelled "And I'm sure Courtney does not care enough to start some stupid account" He added
"But what did they mean when they said someone could have heard them? What did they talk about? Is something in that post true and they aren't telling us?" I questioned, not really expecting him to know the answers
"My thoughts exactly" Jeff sighed in response
"I truly don't get this" I groaned
"It's most definitely a girls thing" He shrugged
With that being said, we went back to our game

"Hey, are you and Thia okay?" I asked Zach as we started our warm ups for our workout
"Yeah, why wouldn't we be?" He questioned, almost too quickly
"No reason, just thought I sensed some tension but I guess I'm wrong" I shrugged as I grabbed some weights
"We're actually doing amazing, better than we've ever been" He replied
Zach's answer seemed to be quick and rehearsed but I kept my mouth shut and didn't question anything furthermore

"Why did you Snapchat me?" I asked Zach at the lockers as we were getting our things ready
"I didn't Snapchat you?" He looked at me confused
My eyebrows pulled together as I opened my Snapchat and saw that I had indeed gotten a picture from Zach. Just as confused as he was, I opened the picture and my jaw dropped as I saw it
"What?" Zach looked at me and tried to look at my phone but I pulled it away
I started laughing uncontrollably
Zach's face switched as he realized that he actually did send me a picture, by accident
"Jeff, man, come on stop and just skip it" He told me as he tried to grab my phone again
I kept laughing and took a screenshot
"Man seriously?" Zach pushed me "Did you really need to take a screenshot?" He asked me
"Yes I did, thank you for the good laugh" I answered him
"I was just playing bro, she didn't send anything" He told me
"Mmh and I can totally write an essay on my own" I replied sarcastically
"You better not tell Thi about this, she'll kick your ass" Zach looked at me
"At least one of you guys will have the nerves to do it" I teased
Zach simply shook his head in response and I smiled, glad to see that their relationship was actually doing as fine as he told me
