I unpacked and changed into leggings with a loose tank top and threw my hair up in a messy bun before the doorbell rang

I ran walked downstairs and opened the door to reveal Zach

"Not be rude or anything but why are you here?" I asked him

"Wow okay bye" He turned around

"Nooo" I whined and grabbed his arm before he could go anywhere

Zach laughed and turned around, bringing me into a huge hug

I let go of him and grabbed his hand, leading him into my house

"You know, I would've liked it for you to tell that you were going away somewhere" He said, as he took his shoes off "Especially since you went somewhere with Montgomery"

"Yes I know, but we needed some space and we're giving Monty a chance" I told him

"So he didn't try anything and he didn't do anything?" Zach asked me

I shook my head

"Alright good" He responded

We walked to my living room and sat down

"You never answered my question" I said "Why are you here?" I asked him

"Well I thought we could watch a movie and spend time together" He answered

"So you're inviting me to watch a movie at my house?" I questioned him

Zach look at me and started laughing

"Well when you put it that way, it sounds dumb" He said

I couldn't help but laugh along with him

"How about this, I'm inviting you to watch a movie at your house but I'll cook for you" Zach suggested

"Now you want to cook for me with my food?" I teased him

"Althiaaaa" Zach groaned

"I'm kidding" I told him "I accept your invitation" I added

Zach smiled and got up

He stood in front of me and held his hands out, which I gladly took for him to help me up

I started leading him towards my kitchen but he stopped me

"I was also thinking that we could, maybe, consider this a date?" Zach asked me

This took me by surprise and I just stayed silent

"We don't have to" He quickly added once he saw my silent

"No" I said quickly and his eyes beamed "We can consider this a date" I told him

Zach smiled and I grabbed his hand, leading him to the kitchen

I showed him where everything was and told him that he can use whatever he wants to cook whatever he wants. After that, I quickly excused myself to go to the bathroom.

I closed the door and immediately grabbed my phone to text the girls

I flushed the toilet to make it seem like I had actually gone to the bathroom and washed my hands.

I soon joined Zach in the kitchen again as he was looking through the fridge

"So what's on the menu, Chef Zachary?" I asked him

He jumped a little and I giggled

Zach closed the fridge to look at me

"First of all, we agreed that you can't call me Zachary" He glared at me "Second of all, I have two options and you can choose which one you'd like" He answered me

I look at him, waiting for him to continue

"I can either make pasta with cheesy garlic bread or chicken with quinoa and vegetables" Zach told me

I thought for a bit

"I want chicken!" I exclaimed after I made my choice

"Then chicken it is!" Zach mimicked me and washed his hands before taking out everything that he needed

I sat down on the counter and watched as he started seasoning chicken with a bunch of spices, he put it in a dish before putting it in the stove.

Next, he moved onto the quinoa and started seasoning that

"How did you learn to cook like this?" I asked him as he was rinsing the vegetables

"I started helping my mom out in the kitchen at a very young age and as I grew up, I guess I found out that I love cooking" Zach answered "I'm always trying new recipes and trying to come up with new dishes" He added

"That's amazing" I smiled

He grabbed all of the vegetables and set them down beside me

"Would you mind cutting these while I check on the chicken and start the quinoa?" He asked

"Of course, Zachy Poo" I said as I hopped down the counter

"Thi" Zach warned at the sound of the nickname

"Sorry" I rolled my eyes

I started cutting the vegetables and the kitchen fell into a comfortable silence

When I was almost done with the vegetables, a sudden light appeared out of nowhere

"Shit" I heard Zach mumble

I turned around and saw Zach holding up his phone, taking a picture of me

I started laughing and he quickly put his phone away, turning back to the stove in embarrassment

"Awe, Zachy" I teased as I went up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist

He kept stirring the quinoa

"You could of at least told me so I could have posed for you" I told him as I rested my head on his back

"Did you want to eat in the living room?" He questioned

I nodded against his back

"Alright, go sit there and wait" Zach told me "The food is almost ready" He added

I went on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek

"Sure thing, Chef NutZach" I said before running to the living room

"Althia! Please!" Zach yelled after me

"I'm not even sorry for that one" I yelled back at him

A couple of minutes later, Zach came into the living room carrying two plates.

He set one down in front of me and I was amazed

"This looks so gooooood" I told him

"Let's hope, it tastes good too" He responded

I took a quick picture before digging into the dish

I took my first bite and I could feel Zach's eyes on me as he waited for my reaction

"That" I pointed to the food with my fork "Is fucking delicious" I complimented

Zach's eyes lit up as he smiled widely

"Really?" He asked

I nodded as I took another bite

Zach smiled again before he started eating

"Oof, I am stuffed" I grabbed my stomach and laid my head on Zach's lap

Zach laughed and patted my stomach before resting his hand on it

We had just finished eating and were ready to watch a movie

Zach started scrolling through the movies as we tried to decide what to watch

"SCOOBY-DOO" I shouted as I saw the movie cover

Zach clicked on the movie without any hesitation

"Do you wanna lay down?" He asked me

I nodded and lifted my head from his lap

Zach laid down and opened his arms for me to join him which I gladly did

I rested my head on his chest and placed one of my hands on his stomach

Halfway through the movie, Zach grabbed my hand and started to play with my fingers which caused me to smile.

"I promise you that the next time I see you outside of school, it'll be somewhere that isn't your house" Zach promised me as I walked him through the door

"Second date already?" I raised an eyebrow at him jokingly

"Only if you want to" He quickly said

"I do" I reassured

"Good" He smiled "See you tomorrow Thi" He leaned down to kiss my cheek

"See you tomorrow Zachy" I said back to him as I watched him walk to his car

Once Zach drove off, I closed my door and quickly texted the girls telling them everything that has happened. I cleaned the house a bit before calling it a day and going upstairs to my room and going on my social media.
