Frozen (pt. 3)

a/n: I'm really enjoying this series so like, there's gonna be a few more updates today just about this series. enjoy :)

You were sitting on the table in the AV Club room, everyone of your friends staring at you with confusion of what just happened in the girls restroom.

You sighed. "It happened a few months ago. I was in the Upside Down-"

"The Upside Down? (what about now. the saga continues tune in to see how) What's the Upside Down?" Max asked you, clearly confused.

You looked towards her and tried to speak but words wouldn't come out so your boyfriend stepped in for you. "It's basically the same world as ours, except it's all dead and decayed and cold."

Max nodded solemnly, staring back at you with surprise.

"Anyways, I was in the Upside Down and then I saw this thing. I'm not sure exactly what it was but it was something that was scary. It had this face that was contorted and frosty blue eyes-"

Mike looked at you and stared deep into your eyes, making you have to look away. "Uh, anyways. So, it had frosty blue eyes and it clawed me. The next morning, I woke up angrily and frosted things before coming back to my senses."

Everyone looked at you in shock while you laid your head in your hands, scared to be around any of them now.

"I was going to tell you guys when I got to the point where I could control my powers but-"

"Control your powers?" Dustin asked, frustrated. "___, you frosted two people to the wall inside the girls bathroom and locked someone else in a stall! How the hell is that control?"

"My anger is controlling me, Dustin."

"Maybe you just need to control your anger then!"

You stood up, hand up as a ball of ice hovered over your hand, frosty eyes staring at Dustin's while he stumbled backwards slightly out of fear. He couldn't get any words out so he just stared at you.

Your eyes turned back to the soft brown they were and the ice ball shattered to the ground while you sat back down on the table, running low on energy.

"Stop using your powers, ___. You're going to wear yourself out."

You merely nodded, looking over at Dustin who was still slightly scared of what had just happened. How had you managed to make all of your friends fear you in one day?

Max stepped forwards and began to talk to you.

"So, do you know exactly how all of this works?" She asked you softly, trying to keep you calm instead of angry.

You shrugged, "I'm not sure about everything. I just know that if I get really pissed off, I become frosty the snowman gone wrong. I know how to make things as well."

You snapped your fingers and suddenly small snowflakes began to flutter down in the room, everyone looking around in great surprise as you snapped your fingers once more, and it suddenly stopped.

"I know that I have the ability to kill someone."

The room got dead silent as soon as you said that. You cleared your throat and turned back towards Max.

"That's basically all that I know about my powers." You told her, Max nodding and lightly rubbing your arm to comfort you.

Everyone watched you in silence, not daring to move or say anything and you felt sick to your stomach. You had made all of your friends, and your boyfriend, fear you for reasons that you knew were bad.

You turned towards Mike who was currently playing with a loose string on his sweater. You felt tears in your eyes as you stared at him. He probably couldn't even look at you anymore.

You suddenly got up, rushing out the door with cold tears freezing your cheeks as you walked out of the room and towards the alleyway that you had been in earlier with Mike.

You slumped against the wall. There was a deep pit in the bottom of your stomach where you felt like you had betrayed everyone that you knew. By lying about your powers and to protect them, although they probably saw it as more of lying than protection which caused more tears to fall.

"___?" You heard your boyfriend ask as you looked up at him, wiping away the crystal colored tears from off your cheeks.

He squatted down, grabbing your hand in his and pulled you towards him, his hands resting on your waist with your body flat against his.

You couldn't look at him. You felt too guilty for everything that you had caused to Stacey and her goons, to him, to Dustin.

He slid his hands across your waist and rested them on the lower part of your back as you inhaled sharply. He was close to your ass, and you weren't sure if you should start something you couldn't stop.

Before you could think again, Mike pressed his lips to yours and it caused a small gasp to come out of your mouth. He took this opportunity to slip his tongue inside your mouth and you couldn't help but kiss back.

Your hands found his hair where you entangled your hands into it. His hands moved down a little more but just slightly as you pressed yourself further into his body, lips still connected.

His hands began to move down slowly and more into your ass but you let go and he slid his hands back to your waist. You were pressed up against him, a small pant exhaling from your mouth as he just smiled down at you.

"You may make snow, but I sure did get you heated."

You blushed harder than ever before as you stared up at him, an apologetic look in your eye. He accepted it, his eyes scanning over yours briefly before you stood back up on your tiptoes and pressed your lips to his once more.

This would be the last sweet moment you would share with Mike Wheeler for a few more minutes because things were about to get cold.
