a/n: quick update based off the song 'While You Count Sheep' by Jon Bellion, aka one of my favorite people ever & I saw him in concert!!! I'm also still currently writing the imagines that were requested & requests are still open right now. also, one of the lines in the song reminds of me of Richie, aka the love of my life. alright, onto the first imagine posted in 2018! enjoy :)

The day had been spent with long hours talking, walks to the theater and the general store to get some food, and movie marathons when you were just exhausted finally by the end of the day.

You hadn't expected to be this tired because you were just hanging out with your boyfriend but sometimes he could seriously wear you out with all of the energy he had balled up inside of him.

You were sitting on the couch with a blanket covering the bottom half of your body, a large bowl of popcorn in your lap as you munched happily while watching a movie he had put on.

He wasn't sitting next to you currently because he was fixing some type of drink for you that he swore you wouldn't know what it was, however you knew exactly what it was. You just played along with him because he was so cute when he surprised you.

"Dustin, hurry up!" You yelled into the kitchen, not earning an immediate response back but you couldn't help but smile.

He did the smallest things but also brought butterflies to your chest as much as you tried to contain them. You just appreciated it so much.

"I'm coming, ___! I swear that you have no idea what the hell this is!" Dustin said, making you laugh back in response as he walked in the room with a cup in his hand.

"Here." He said, placing the cup into your smaller hands. You couldn't help but laugh a little as he stared at you with eager eyes.

You lifted the cup to your lips, taking a sip of the coke that was in the bottle. You laughed a little after swallowing and he couldn't contain his smile.

"So?" He said.

You pointed down at the glass, setting it down on the coffee table afterwards. "It's Coke, Dustin. I've had Coke before, love."

He sat down next to you, a light sigh coming out of his lips. "Aw, come on." You tried to cheer him up.

He glanced over at you, not making any other move as you set the popcorn off to the side and laid your head down on his lap. "If I fall asleep, you better not leave me, Henderson."

He looked down at you with his curls coming out underneath his hat that you tended to steal a lot (I have his hat now guys! I got it off of amazon :)).

"You better not leave me." You said sternly, pulling the blanket up over your shoulders.

"Don't worry, ___. While you count sheep, I'll stay with you." Dustin whispered back as your eyes fluttered shut and your breathing eased into a simple pattern.

He couldn't help but stare.

Your hair was strewn over the pillow slightly with the rest floating down your back. He couldn't help but run his fingers through it, watching as you smiled softly and pushed yourself more into his touch.

Your blanket had moved slightly down to the bottom half of your body with your sweater providing comfort, warmth, and of course, sweater paws.

You just looked so peaceful sleeping (lol not me. sorry if I just totally fucked up that moment whoops) and he couldn't help himself.

"___, I know you can't hear this but I love you. You make me so happy, and I'm not sure what I would do without you." Dustin whispered, totally unaware that you had heard every word until you responded back, eyes closed.

"Love you too, Henderson."

readers who requested an imagine, DO NOT WORRY. I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN. I was just busy all week, still gonna be busy this week, so there may not be an imagine going up but I'll try my best.

School starts back for me this Wednesday (☹️) and I'm doing something with my friends Friday and Saturday & my brother comes back from his mission trip in Mexico on Saturday as well!!!

on top of that, I have to memorize all of my 88 lines for a play I'm doing for drama in two days. YAY FOR PROCRASTINATION!!!

I hope everyone of you guys had a FABULOUS 2017!!! I had SUCH a good 2017 and I actually really really miss it already!

I mean, the IT movie came out in 2017, the second season of my absolute favorite tv show, Stranger Things, came out last year! (Next year season three is coming!!!).

I found a lot of new music tastes & I really like all of them a lot!!!
