Frozen

a/n: so this is a mix of Caitlin Snow's powers and Elsa's from Frozen. I was recently watching a video and I thought that it would be interesting and different if I wrote about this girl who seemed ordinary, having super powers much like eleven but in a different, much colder way. enjoy :)

You had always been considered different, and for many reasons that people could totally understand like your clothes, taste in music, or even just the people you hang out with. But something no one knew, that were afraid to expose to everyone, made you the most different of all.

You had powers, powers that made you so different and unique that you were honestly overwhelmed with not only fear, but power.

With a flick of your fingers, you could send snowflakes to Hawkins on a hot summer day in July or if you held out your hand in a certain way, snowballs could be formed. If you tightened your hand into a fist, it would form an icicle and if you wanted to build things, all you have to do (is walk away yay ay ay. someone please get that vine reference) use both of your hands to form things.

No one, not even your best friends or even your mom, knew about your powers and you had planned on keeping it that way for their safety. The less people that know about them, the better. Not only for you, but for them as well.

One of the worst things that came with your powers was the evil that stirred inside of you and it came to the surface, your soft brown chocolate orbs turning a frosty blue, the color of Jack Frost.

That was only if you really engaged in too much of the powers, which was another scary thing that you couldn't reveal.

You were sitting on your bed one night, just thinking about all that had occurred with your powers in the last two days. You had nearly killed someone, your powers pulling all the anger you had that day, and the day after, you broke the windows of two stores.

You quickly left the scene so that no one would suspect you but there was snow everywhere. In the middle of summer. You couldn't explain that, no one would be able to so, you just tried to hide your powers heavily.

A knock on your door snapped you out of your thoughts as your little sister, Betty, walked into the room with a sweet look on her face as she stared up at you.

"___?" She asked, her giant green doe eyes sparkling playfully as you stared back at her. How you managed to have the only brown eyes in your family, you had no idea.

"Yes, Betty?" You asked, trying to keep your hands unclenched in fear it might make an icicle. You always tightened up when you were in fear, which made it even more dangerous now that you had powers and that hand motion could cause the death of your little sister.

"Is your boyfriend coming over?"

You relaxed a little bit more, remembering that you had someone you could talk to about the situation but you didn't want to risk his life either. You just couldn't do that to yourself, or more importantly, to him.

"Uh, no, Betty. I don't think he can make it tonight. Maybe tomorrow." You apologized, knowing fully well that he was outside of your window right now, hiding to not be seen by anyone.

She pouted. "Aw."

You gave her a soft smile before watching her leave your room and shut the door. You eagerly headed over to your window and opened it, seeing Mike Wheeler standing carefully balanced on your roof top.

"Come on." You said, grabbing his hands and pulling him inside before remembering how whenever you got scared, your hands became colder than usual.

You abruptly let his hands go, crossing your arms across your sweater as he stared at you with concern. "___, what's going on? Are you sick?"

You shook your head, going over to your bed and sitting down. "Why would you say that?"

"Because your hands are freezing."

You watched as he sat down next to you on the bed, looking in your eyes carefully but you had to look away. You had never had a small stripe of blue in your eyes and everyone knew that. But ever since the first incident, you had managed to get a blue stripe in your eye.

"Hey, ___. You can talk to me. You know that right?" Mike said, trying to get you to face him but you refused. You didn't want your secret to come out in this way. In such a way that it made you feel more scared and embarrassed than you already were.

"I know."

Mike sighed, reaching again for your hand but you pulled it away from his reach and kept your gaze on your blue carpet. The carpet that matched your snow, icicles, your eyes when they turned frosty from anger.

"Then, talk to me."

You shook your head.

"I can't."

Mike sort of chuckled. "You can."

You stood up, slightly annoyed that he wouldn't get the point from your previous statement. "I can't, Mike. Did you not hear me the first time. I can't."

Mike stood up as well, looking at you. "Yes, you can. I'm here to help you out, ___."

"I said, you can't!"

Your hands suddenly became frosty along with your eyes turning the lightest of blue they could get as you just stood in your room with your boyfriend staring at you in disbelief.

You slightly frowned. "I told you that I can't and you didn't listen."

You began to clinch your hands together to form a fist, an icicle soon hovering above your right shoulder as you watched it grow and sharpen.

"Now, if you don't want me to kill you then I suggest that you get the hell out of my room, Wheeler."

He stared at you in disbelief and confusion, slowly opening the window and sliding down the roof as you watched him leave on his bike.

You broke down.

You had just exposed yourself to your boyfriend and basically was a mean, old bitch to him about trying to help you. You were in disbelief of yourself.

You sat down on your bed, eyes turning back to the soft brown they were with the stripe of icicle coldness cutting through them like a knife and your hands turned back to the original coldness they kept.

"What have I done?"
