You and Mike had always been close, close as best friends and as a couple. Everyone in the school knew that you had been in love with him since fourth grade, especially since you two had grown up together.

Even in the midst of danger, you were always by his side (not a Jacob sartorius reference!!!!).

You walked hand-in-hand with him as you both headed to the school, to look for Dart who had managed to escape the AV room when Max, Lucas, and Will were being shown it by Dustin.

You were both walking quickly into the AV room where you let go of Mike's hand to ask Dustin a few questions. "What the hell happened!"

"He-She-I- ugh! Just find Dart!" He exclaimed, running off as Max and Lucas both ran off in another direction.

You began to run around the school, Will leaving you to go down another hallway after a few minutes. You searched through the girls bathroom, opening every door slowly, careful not to scare him if he was in there.

There was no sign of him in the bathrooms that you searched, and the gym was next. You didn't know if anyone else had searched the gym yet, so better checked twice than not at all.

Your feet began to run towards the gym, stopping when you noticed Eleven standing outside the window of the gym. Eleven always loved you and Mike together, even though she had feelings for him when they met but you were together then and she loved you like a daughter loved a mom. You were like Eleven's mom and she didn't want to ruin your happiness. She was very selfless for you.

You came up, quietly whispering, "El?" She turned to you, a small frown adorning her features as she looked down towards the ground. You quickly came up beside her, watching as Max and Mike hugged briefly, after he helped pull her up from the ground.

You felt a choked sob. Sure, it was only a hug but you were the girl who always got them, and he never held anyone else's hand but yours. Your heart throbbed.

"E-El?" Got choked out, her slowly looking towards the ground. You saw Mike start to look in the direction of the window as Max went to go get her board from across the gym floor.

You quickly hid on the other side of the window, Eleven doing the same as you felt tears begin to flow down your face. "E-El, let's go." You managed out as she nodded.

You two began walking away from the gym as your eyes let tears flow freely from them. A frown was on your lips as you walked up to Dustin, Eleven leaving you to go back to wherever she needed to be. You knew she was busy.

"What happened, ___?" You just pulled him into a hug, tears falling from your eyes. "I-It might be dumb, b-but, Max and Mike were hugging, and held hands briefly."

Dustin nodded, tightening his grip on you, holding you closely. You weren't shaking violently with tears but you were still upset. Mike was your boyfriend, after all.

"Here he comes." Dustin whispered as you turned around to see Max and Mike coming back together. You looked down at the ground, wiping away the tears from your eyes as Dustin shook his head at Mike.

"What is it?" Mike asked you, trying to pull you to him but you pried his grasp off of you. "You touched another girl, Mike! You touched another girl! You don't get the right to touch me! You don't-"

Tears took over your words as you pulled him quickly towards you, sobbing and letting the tears soak his shirt. You cried into his shirt as he tried to make you look at him.

"Hey, I was just helping her up. I'm pretty sure Eleven is back, and-" You just just stared up at him with a soft smile.

He looked back down at you. "You're the only girl I ever want to hold though."

You couldn't help but blush at the compliment, quickly pressing a small peck to his lips in response as Max looked between the two of you.

You wiped away the tears and looked over at her. "I'm Max." She started but you just nodded back. "And I'm Mike's girlfriend also known as ___."

She looked slightly taken aback but you didn't let it faze you. Then, a smile broke out on your lips. "I'm kidding, about looking mean. I'm not kidding about the whole girlfriend part."

You smiled at her, her eyes flooding with relief. "Nice to meet you, Max. But, just don't touch my boyfriend like that again, alright?"

She nodded, walking away from the group with Dustin as you wrapped your arms around Mike again, sighing into his hold.
