Just your so called normal school days were more than ordinary to you because of your interesting friend. Sure, it was fun to at least have friends but having friends who fought off a creature from another dimension, found a girl who had badass powers, and saved their friend from the creature was extremely cool.

Not to mention, you liked one of them. And it so happened to be Mike Wheeler.

"Hey." You said approaching Dustin as you opened your locker to look at the multiple pictures of you with your friends at the arcade or just hanging out at one of their houses.

You loved your friends with all your heart, even if they made stupid jokes sometimes. Most of that came from Dustin but you all didn't complain about the comedy relief every once in a while.

"Hey." He echoed back to you, giving you a small suspicious smile but you didn't let it confuse you, seeing as Dustin could be up to no good whenever.

It was like he was a free lance child.

"Something up?" You questioned, still picking out the books you needed for the next few classes.

Dustin just looked at you like you were crazy. "What? No, no. Nothings up. Nothing."

You smiled. "Okay, then tell me why you haven't stopped smiling the past few minutes I've been talking to you."

Dustin's face turned red but you could see that he didn't let your words faze him. He just smiled back in response as you shut your locker, turning off in the opposite direction to head towards your class.

Along the way, you bumped straight into Mike which caused you to smirk at him while he just tried to laugh it off.

"Can't keep away from me, huh Wheeler?" You flirted, even if it was the most terrible flirt you've ever heard.

Mike just smiled, rolling his eyes back in response. "Yeah, yeah. Jessica wasn't doing it for me anymore."

You shoved his shoulder back slightly. "Mike!"

He just grinned down at you before moving along to his next class, Will attaching himself to your side while you walked.

"So, what was that conversation about." He urged.

You just rolled your eyes in response, a smile on your cherry pink lips. "Nothing. It was nothing."

The bell rang to signal the end of class.

You began shoving away papers and books into the small backpack that you owned and walked out of the classroom to be confronted with Mike.

"I'm not that attractive, am I?" You questioned, putting a grin on your lips as Mike laughed back in response. "Yeah, you could totally get any guy you wanted in this school." He joked.

"All except for you, Wheeler. I'm too good for you."

He jokingly placed a hand over his heart. "Ouch. That hurt, ___."

You shrugged, continuing towards the Audio Visual room where you hung out with Lucas, Dustin, Will, and of course, Mike. You had joined a while back after finally being pressured into joining by Lucas. But, nonetheless, they were all happy you were there and really enjoyed your company.

Mike opened the door, holding it for you as you passed him, blushing slightly. "A gentleman, huh Wheeler?"

He shrugged. "I have my moments."

"Well, I'll tip to that."

Mike rolled his eyes in response, going over to the light switch to turn on the light but nothing happened. "Oh, shit." He cursed, alarming you slightly. Dustin was the dirty mouth (or you could say trashmouth haha. okay I'm done) of the group.

"What is it?" You asked, looking over at him with curious eyes.

"It's not working." He replied, about to leave the room when the door slammed shut and you both heard a lock click. "Holy shit, what's going on?" You whispered out of fear.

You couldn't see anything because of how dark the room was so you searched around carefully for your flash light that you kept hidden in the front pouch of your backpack.

You could hear Mike jiggling the knob to try and open it, but to no avail. "Shit."

You found your backpack, unzipping the front pouch as you bent down and felt for the flashlight. You couldn't seem to find it. Your mom had probably taken it out and put it in the safety drawer.

This was the exact moment that you could've used it but your mom shut it away in a drawer that she usually kept locked in case of emergencies.

"I don't have my flashlight, so looks like I'll have to pick our way out of here, Wheeler."

You could almost feel Mike's eyes shift to yours as you stared into the darkness.

You heard the sound of footsteps before a hand met yours. You looked down in the darkness, trying to find the hand that was grasping yours before you felt a shiver go down your spine.

You didn't realize how cold it was.

Then, a hand laced in between strands of your hair. You didn't know what to do. This was different for both of you, especially you. Mike had dated Eleven and kissed her before but you? You were like an innocent, holy girl who never had her first kiss.

So when you felt a pair of lips meet yours, you gasped.

It was shocking, the way it warmed you up completely but at the same time made you shiver with goosebumps designing the skin in a way you couldn't describe.

His lips tasted sweet, which made you easily fall in love with him when you felt them push against yours lightly.

You finally felt him let go.

"Don't tell me your a romantic, chick flick guy now. That would totally ruin the vibe if you just tell me that you watch them every Friday night with your sister in her bedroom." You mumbled, his hand still in yours and once laced between your hair.

You heard him laugh.

"I've always liked you but found it easier to flirt than admit my feelings." He admitted to you, making a deep blush erupt in your cheeks. Thank God for the soothing darkness to hide your facial features.

"To be honest, I did the exact same thing. I liked you but flirting is so much easier to do than actually confront the situation. Besides, you don't want our friendship to get messed up."

He laughed. "Yeah, admitting is for the cliches."

You laughed loudly. "Oh, and you aren't one? You just kissed me in the darkness of our club's room! This is like a damn horror movie cliche romantic, Wheeler!"

The door suddenly opened with three figures standing outside. Your eyes took a minute to adjust to the sudden bright light before they turned on the actual light in the room.

You both were in the same position you had been in but moved quickly when they entered the room.

"Did it work?" You heard Will whisper to Dustin who just smiled.

"I think it did. You finally together, lovebirds?"

You smiled up at Mike.

"Like I said, he's too good for me but I guess I'll make an exception."

He rolled his eyes playfully, pressing a light kiss to the top of your head before all three of the boys smiled at you.

"Love you too, ___."
