Today was the day of the surprise birthday party you were throwing in honor of Mike turning fourteen. (i know Finn is turning fifteen, but I'm pretty sure the kids in the show are thirteen so, let's work with that).

You quickly stumbled downstairs out of excitement, finding your mom in the kitchen wrapping a gift for your boyfriend of a year and six months.

"Morning." You greeted, a smile bright on your face as you watched her add the finishing touches to the box that seemed perfect on the outside.

"You excited for today, ___?"

You nodded eagerly, piling your plate high with two pancakes and a few scrambled eggs off to the side.

"It's my boyfriend's birthday, why wouldn't I be?"

Your feet bounded into the den where you easily shoveled it all down quite eagerly to change and leave for school.

You ran back upstairs, after putting away your dishes of course, and threw on a sweater Mike had given you for the six month anniversary.

Jeans were added and some brown boots to compliment the bright, white sweater that you let slouch over your shoulders.

Your hair was put into two French braids and you let loose a few strands for a finished, messier look.

You finished off everything with a smile, grabbing the bracelet Mike had also given you for your year anniversary, and quickly put it on before heading off to school.

"Happy birthday, babe!" You said excitedly as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him closer to you with a smile on your lips.

Dustin, Lucas, and Will watched, knowing just how much you loved him. You spent a majority of your time with him, anyways.

"Thanks, and you're wearing the sweater and bracelet I got you!" He said back, excitedly.

You nodded. "Of course."

The bell rang over head as you groaned slightly, but felt his hand in yours and instantly felt relaxed.

"I'll see you later." You told him, smiling before bounding off down the hallway.

"Okay, Dustin. You got the balloons, right? Lucas, how about the food? Oh, and Will, did you get people to come?" You asked your friends, standing inside of your house after lunch.

You needed to come home earlier to study, as you told Mike. But you were in reality getting a surprise birthday party together for Mike.

"Everything seems to be in place. Let's set it all up."

Streamers were hung throughout your house, balloons outside and tied together in chairs indoors, and gifts stood neatly stacked on top of your kitchen counter by all the food.

You heard a knock on the door, quickly fixing your white dress and bracelet before shushing everyone and turning out the lights except for a small lamp by the door.

"Hey, come on in." You told him, a smile illuminating your lips.

He stepped inside. "Alright."

"Surprise!"

The word suddenly rang out throughout the house hold, making you laugh and smile all at once.

"You threw a party for me?" Mike asked, turning to you after he got over his excitement.

You nodded, pulling him towards you with your hands in his. "I did it not only because it's your birthday, but because I love you. I truly do."

Mike smiled, putting his head down, and seeing your bracelet.

"We've been together for quite some time."

You nodded. "Yeah."

You let out a sigh but felt a pair of lips push to yours soothingly. You instantly knew who it was when you let go.

"Our first kiss happened to be on your fourteenth birthday."

"Yeah, and?"

"Nothing. Everything is fine, Wheeler." You responded, laying your head down on his chest. "Everything is perfect."

i just wanted to wish a HUGE happy birthday to one of my favorite child actors & can't believe how far you've come!

you've only helped me become a more aspiring actress and film director. i always wanted to do that, but you only helped push me more into it.

thanks for also being in my favorite movie of all time, and for being in my favorite television show.
