Frozen (pt. 5)

a/n: here's part five as suggested by a reader. enjoy :)

It had been two days and you hadn't been seen by any of your friends once. You had stuck yourself away into a small corner of the woods where no one would be able to find you.

It was for everyone's safety.

The morning started off by you waking up from sleeping underneath a tree, a tree that you had been sleeping under for two days straight. You began by just laying there out there waving your hand around as if something were going to happen, but nothing did.

You sat up in the dirty floor of the woods, looking around before checking your hair again for more light blue but it was still just the same strand.

You were still scared.

It had been two days since your hair had been colored light blue but you decided it was time to go back to your house at least.

Your parents were probably worried sick.

You brushed off leaves that were stuck to you and began walking out of the woods.

Your nerves were high.

You walked towards the general store that you used to hang out with your friends after school and talk to Mrs. Byers for a little while before having to leave.

You stood staring at it for a second, reminiscing on the moments you've shared with them before moving on.

You needed to find your friends and apologize.

You stood outside of the Wheeler's door, your hand continually reaching up to the blue stripe in your hair before you knocked on the door.

There was sudden running around in the house and the door opened, revealing all of your friends including Eleven and Will.

The first eyes you met were Mike's and you could see the hurt in them, but also the worry.

"___." He said, pulling you into his arms immediately and burying his face into your hair.

You were shaking from fear of them figuring out what happened and you were pretty sure Mike could feel it through his tight grasp.

"Is your hair, blue?" He asked.

You stiffened in his hold. When you let go, he stared down into your brown and blue eyes with concern, and mostly confusion.

"What the hell happened?"

You grabbed his hand, nodding to the others to follow you as you walked out into the yard.

"This is going to sound crazy," You began, looking towards Mike. "But someone make me angry."

Everyone looked around at each other (like that scene with Stan when he's telling everyone that they need to have a look out outside of the house on Neibolt. okay, I'm good).

No one would be crazy enough to anger you again after they had seen what all you could do, but Max stepped forwards before anyone else could say anything.

"You're not smart."

You just shrugged at her.

She nodded, continuing.

"You're not good looking, what so ever."

You gave her a slight smile.

"Mike Wheeler doesn't love you."

You stared at her, eyes turning the color of frost as another hunk of hair turned light blue at the use of your powers.

You lifted your hand into a tight fist, walking faster to her with an icicle quickly following you and headed straight towards her. You could see, almost taste (Pennywise?) the fear on her.

You just smirked. "Shouldn't of said that."

You raised your hand to start the movement of the icicle but you felt somewhat exhausted as your eyes turned back to normal and your legs began to give way.

Mike noticed, running over and catching you in his arms much like you were a bride of his. You felt so tired. You didn't know if it was from the color change of your hair or from your use of your powers.

"I feel so tired." You mumbled, causing Mike and everyone else around you to look at you with concern.

"We can't let her use anymore of her powers. She's getting blue hair, she's colder than usual, and she's getting tired faster." Mike explained to everyone.

They all agreed, Eleven stepping forwards.

"Sick?"

You were so sleepy. You couldn't hear things right.

"Uh, yeah." Mike responded. The others gave a nod in agreement as you reached up and tugged a cold hand on his sweater.

He looked down towards you and nodded. "Yes?"

You hummed out, "M tired."

Everyone stared at you, watching as your sleepy eyes began to shut, your head leaning back a little with your hand falling limp to your chest.

"Guys, I'm worried for her."

Dustin nodded, giving his friend a small pat on the back as a sign of encouragement. Mike just sighed, bringing you inside.

A few hours later and you woke up by a small flutter of your eyes, noticing the sleeping body of your boyfriend beside you. You felt his hands holding onto you tightly as you squirmed slightly, waking him up.

Your eyes met his and he was in shock.

"___." He said calmly, staring into your eyes with focus.

"Yes?" You asked, staring up at his freckle covered cheeks and nose. He opened his mouth but no words came out, which was starting to scare you.

"Mike?" You asked him, nerves getting the best of you.

You didn't want another issue to add to the others that you've been dealing with currently.

Mike just stared back at you.

"Mike."

Your voice was harsher now and you feel the anger coming up if he didn't give you an answer. What happened to even controlling the anger you had built up inside of you?

You kept your eyes staring at his as he sat up and began talking.

"Okay, well, your eyes."

He stopped after that sentence, leaving you with a confused face.

"What's wrong with my eyes? I mean, besides the light blue stripe I got when using my powers."

Mike stared at you, moving closer to stare at them to make sure that he was seeing things correctly.

"They're, uh, they're completely blue."
