El Príncipe y la Princesa de Wales fueron vistos ayer recorriendo el campus con George, quién cumplirá 10 años el próximo mes. Es posible que dentro de tres años el joven asista a la escuela para varones, que se encuentra cerca del Castillo de Windsor.

Actualmente, el Príncipe George asiste a la escuela primaria Lambrook, junto con sus hermanos menores, la Princesa Charlotte y el Príncipe Louis. Lambrook, sin embargo, sólo enseña a estudiantes hasta los 13 años.

Eton es un internado para niños de 13 a 18 años, y para ingresar en 2026, los estudiantes deben estar registrados antes de junio, que es quizás lo que estaban haciendo los Wales ayer.

Cuando el príncipe William se matriculó en Eton en 1995, se convirtió en el primer miembro de la realeza de alto rango en asistir a la escuela en Berkshire, Inglaterra. Tanto su padre, el Rey Charles III, como su abuelo, el Príncipe Philip, asistieron a Gordonstoun, un internado en Escocia, pero su tío y su abuelo materno asistieron a Eton.

Otros miembros de la realeza que habían asistido a Eton, fueron los primos hermanos de la Reina Elizabeth II, el Príncipe Edward, el Príncipe  Richard y el Príncipe Michael.

Prince George was pictured visiting Eton College with his parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were spotted yesterday touring the campus with their son, who turns 10 next month. It's possible that in three years, the young prince will attend the all boys school, which is located near Windsor Castle.

Prince George currently attends Lambrook Primary School, along with his younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Lambrook, however, only teaches students until age 13.

Eton is a boarding school for boys ages 13 through 18, and for 2026 entry, students need to be registered by this June, which is perhaps what the Waleses were doing yesterday.

When Prince William enrolled in Eton in 1995, he became the first senior royal to attend the school in Berkshire, England. Both his father, King Charles, and grandfather, Prince Philip, attended Gordonstoun, a boarding school in Scotland, but his maternal uncle and grandfather attended Eton.

Other royals had attended Eton, including Queen Elizabeth's first cousins Prince Edward, Prince Richard, and Prince Michael.
