PRIMER DÍA DEL JUBILEO DE PLATINO DE LA REINA

Y llegó el esperado momento.
El Jubileo de Platino de La Reina ha arrancado este jueves por la mañana con el tradicional Trooping the Colour, una celebración con la que normalmente se festeja oficialmente el cumpleaños de la soberana el primer sábado de junio, aunque este año se ha querido que coincidiera con el inicio de estos festejos por sus 70 años en el trono. La Reina ha sido la gran protagonista del acto, pues todos los ojos estaban puestos en ella después de que en los últimos meses haya presentado problemas de salud.

Hemos podido ver a la Duquesa de Cambridge llegando en carruaje junto a sus cuatro hijos, Eleanor (13), George (8), Charlotte (7) y Louis (4), y Camilla, Duquesa de Cornwall. Lo hacía luciendo un vestido en color blanco y estrenando sombrero. Pero lo que más destacaba de su estilismo eran los pendientes elegidos por Kate como homenaje a la Princesa Diana de Wales.

Si bien es cierto que todos los niños de la Familia Real Británica han protagonizado algunos momentos para el recuerdo, el que sin duda destacó fue el pequeño Louis. Un royal que, a pesar de la exquisita educación que recibe, no deja de ser un niño de tan solo 4 años, al que hemos visto vestido con el mismo traje marinero que llevó su padre, el Príncipe William, a su misma edad en el Trooping the Colour de 1985. Louis ha hecho de las suyas, no ha parado de hacer muecas y hasta llegó a taparse los oídos con sus manos mientras cerraba los ojos o saludaba con el típico saludo militar apoyando su mano en la frente.

Y no ha sido el único que llamó la atención, porque además hemos podido ver a la Duquesa de Cambridge teniendo que interceder, como casi cualquier madre, en la pelea entre la Princesa Charlotte y su prima, Mia Tindall. Un juego entre las niñas de 7 y 8 años, respectivamente, que quedaba en un simple entretenimiento mientras esperaban el desfile aéreo en Buckingham.

Sin duda alguna el inicio de los cuatros días de celebración ha comenzado con buen pie.

FIRST DAY OF THE QUEEN'S PLATINUM JUBILEE

While it is true that all the children of the British Royal Family have starred in some moments to remember, the one who undoubtedly stood out was little Louis. A royal who, despite the exquisite education he receives, is still a little boy of only 4 years old, who we have seen dressed in the same sailor suit that his father, Prince William, wore at the same age in the Trooping the Colour in 1985. Louis has not stopped grimacing and even covered his ears with his hands while closing his eyes or saluted with the typical military salute by resting his hand on his forehead.

And he was not the only one who caught the attention, because we have also seen the Duchess of Cambridge having to intercede, like almost any mother, in the fight between Princess Charlotte and her cousin, Mia Tindall. A game between the girls of 7 and 8 years, respectively, which remained in a simple entertainment while waiting for the air parade in Buckingham.

Undoubtedly the beginning of the four days of celebration has started very well.
