EL PRÍNCIPE GEORGE SE ESTRENA EN SU PRIMERA CITA DEPORTIVA DE ÁMBITO INTERNACIONAL

A sus diez años, el Príncipe George asume poco a poco más compromisos oficiales. Es el tercero en la línea de sucesión al trono británico por detrás de su hermana mayor la Princesa Eleanor, y aunque no llegue a reinar se está convirtiendo en un buen acompañante para su progenitor.

George fue visto junto a su padre el Príncipe William en Francia, en el que es el primer compromiso deportivo de carácter internacional del nieto de Charles III de Reino Unido.

Vestido con traje de chaqueta y corbata roja, de manera muy parecida a la de su progenitor, el segundo hijo de los Príncipes de Wales apoyó a la selección de rugby Galés en los cuartos de final del Mundial que llevó al combinado a enfrentarse contra Argentina.

Padre e hijo fueron recibidos a su llegada por el presidente de la World Rugby, la subdirectora del Mundial de Francia 2023, Martine Nemecek, y el presidente de la selección galesa, Gerald Davies. Una vez dentro del estadio siguieron el encuentro desde el palco presidencial. En febrero del año pasado, George acudió a ver un partido que enfrentó a Inglaterra contra Gales en el torneo de las Seis Naciones. El Príncipe George es un gran aficionado a los deportes, especialmente al fútbol y al rugby, disciplina a la que juega en su colegio.

PRINCE GEORGE MAKES HIS DEBUT AT HIS FIRST INTERNATIONAL SPORTING FIXTURE

At the age of ten, Prince George is gradually taking on more and more official engagements. He is third in line to the British throne behind his older sister Princess Eleanor, and although he will not reign, he is becoming a good companion for his father.

George was spotted with his father Prince William in France, in what is the first international sporting engagement for the grandson of Charles III of the United Kingdom.

Dressed in a suit jacket and red tie, much like his father, the second son of the Prince and Princess of Wales supported the Welsh rugby team in the World Cup quarter-finals against Argentina.

Father and son were greeted on arrival by World Rugby president, France 2023 World Cup deputy director Martine Nemecek and Wales team chairman Gerald Davies. Once inside the stadium they followed the match from the presidential box. In February last year, George attended a match between England and Wales in the Six Nations tournament. Prince George is a keen sports fan, especially football and rugby, which he plays at school.
