EL PRÍNCIPE GEORGE, AL IGUAL QUE SU HERMANA MAYOR, DESTACARÁ EN LA CORONACIÓN DEL REY CHARLES III

El segundo hijo del Príncipe William y la Princesa de Wales tendrá un papel importante en la coronación de su abuelo y es que el monarca ha querido tenerlo cerca ese día y lo ha convertido en Paje de Honor del Rey. Un cargo al que no puede optar cualquiera, debe ser el propio Charles III quien decida los nombres de los afortunados, que lo acompañarán en la ceremonia religiosa. El monarca británico ya tiene decidido quiénes serán pajes oficiales.

Son cuatro los pajes oficiales que tendrá el Rey el 6 de mayo y serán el Príncipe George (9); Oliver Cholmondeley (13), hijo de su secretario privado, el marqués de Cholmondeley; Ralph Tollemache (12), hijo de Edward Tollemache (el ahijado de Charles) y Nicholas Barclay (13), nieto de la prima segunda de Charles y compañera de la Reina Camilla, Sarah Troughton.

El mes pasado se anunció que la Princesa Eleanor tendría un significante protagonismo en la coronación del Rey, ahora este protagonismo lo compartirá con su hermano menor. Muy diferente será la participación de la Princesa Charlotte (7) y el Príncipe Louis (4), quienes se espera que solo desfilen junto a sus padres, en el cortejo real.

Este paso que dará el segundo hijo de los Príncipes de Wales, cambia la dinámica que tenía la pareja sobre la exposición de sus hijos. Los herederos al trono siempre habían apostados porque sus todos sus hijos asuman el mismo rol, para que así no haya un protagonista único.

Este método de crianza pretende proteger a los cuatro hijos de William y Kate y evitar que haya rivalidades futuras entre hermanos, como ha sucedido en el caso del Príncipe de Wales y su hermano el Duque de Sussex.
