La vuelta a cierta normalidad

Esta aparición padre e hijo destila tranquilidad en un momento muy difícil para la familia. "Nos ha llevado tiempo explicárselo a Eleanor, George, Charlotte y Louis de una manera adecuada para ellos", explicaba Kate en el vídeo con el que comunicaba la noticia en primera persona. A pesar de la dimensión pública de su diagnóstico, fue algo imprescindible tanto para ella como para el Príncipe William gestionarlo en el ámbito familiar de la mejor manera: "Esto, por supuesto, fue un gran shock, y William y yo hemos estado haciendo todo lo posible para procesar y manejar esto en privado por el bien de nuestra familia. Como pueden imaginar, esto ha llevado tiempo".

Los Príncipes de Wales han estado muy pendientes de Eleanor (15), George (10), Charlotte (8) y Louis (5) estos dos últimos meses intentando que el shock que ellos gestionaban fuese lo menos doloroso posible para los niños, "Como les he dicho a ellos; estoy bien y me estoy fortaleciendo cada día al enfocarme en las cosas que me ayudarán a sanar; en mi mente, cuerpo y espíritu", explicaba la princesa visiblemente conmovida. Kate quería compartir este complicado anuncio cuando sintiese que era el momento adecuado para ellos y para los niños.
