HARRY Y MEGHAN DESTERRADOS DEL BALCÓN REAL

El Príncipe Harry y Meghan Markle han sido los grandes ausentes del primer acto oficial por el Jubileo de Platino de La Reina. La pareja ha viajado desde Los Ángeles hasta Inglaterra con sus hijos Archie y Lilibeth para acompañar a la soberana británica en las celebraciones por sus 70 años de reinado pero no han estado en el mítico saludo de la Familia Real británica desde el Palacio de Buckingham.

En la mañana del 2 de junio, los actos por el Jubileo han arrancado con el 'Trooping the Colour', el desfile militar, que recorre el Mall, una de las principales arterias de Londres, hasta el Palacio de Buckingham y en el que hemos podido ver a Kate Middleton y Camilla compartiendo carroza con los cuatro hijos de los Duques de Cambridge.

Tras la elección de abandonar Reino Unido y de dejar de ser royals en activo, los Duques de Sussex han perdido su lugar en el tradicional balcón del Palacio de Buckingham.

Por decisión de La Reina, solo aquellos miembros de la familia que trabajan haciendo representación directa de Su Majestad la han acompañado durante el saludo, entre ellos estaban: El Príncipe Charles y la Duquesa de Cornwall; los Duques de Cambridge con sus hijos Eleanor, George, Charlotte y Louis; los Condes de Wessex con sus hijos Louise y James; la Princesa Ana y su esposo el Vicealmirante Sir Tim Laurence; el Príncipe Richard (primo de La Reina) y su esposa la Duquesa de Gloucester; el Duque de Kent y su hermana, la Princesa Alexandra.

Sin embargo se filtraron imágenes de Meghan Markle luciendo un vestido de color azul marino y sombrero en color claro con un gran lazo en negro de la firma Stephen Jones Millinery. La esposa del Príncipe Harry siguió el desfile militar desde un balcón en Horse Guards Parade. Los fotógrafos inmortalizaban la esperada aparición de Meghan, a la que pillaban pidiendo silencio a Mia Tindall y Savannah Phillips, en un intento de tranquilizar a las niñas durante el desfile. Era la primera aparición de los Duques de Sussex después de dos años de ausencia.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been the great absentees of the first official act for the Platinum Jubilee of The Queen. Prince Harry's wife followed the military parade from a balcony at Horse Guards Parade. Photographers immortalized the expected appearance of Meghan, who was caught asking Mia Tindall and Savannah Phillips for silence in an attempt to reassure the girls during the parade. It was the first appearance of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after a two-year absence.
