Honoka's performance was the perfect choice to open the event! And I just know that Chika is going to pull through too.

AKI: "It's time, Chika. Are you ready?"

CHIKA: "Yeah! I never thought I'd ever perform solo like this! My heart is pounding!"

AKI: "I'm glad you told me you wanted to try it out. I can't wait to see what you can do. All your fans are waiting."

CHIKA: "My fans? Well, whenever guests see me at the inn, they always tell me to try my best and that they're cheering me on.
Since the show was promoted online, so many people told me they bought tickets. I'm sure they're all out there..."

AKI: "Chika."

CHIKA: "It makes me feel even more motivated! My family are here today, I guess they count on my school idol image to promote our ryokan inn. I want this performance to be a success so I can grow a little as Aqours' leader. Even if they're not with me today, I'm not going to throw this opportunity away..."

AKI: "Chika. You're shaking. Are you okay?"

CHIKA: "Oh."

AKI: "There's still some minutes before you go out there. Tell me what's up."

CHIKA: "I'm okay. I've just been looking forward to today for a long time.
I've been wondering what it's like to sing alone so I planned this song and performance... I made everyone, even my family, help me create it. I worked really hard to write this song for today."

AKI: "As Aqours' lyricist, I assume you're used to doing that."

CHIKA: "Yes, but... I realized something when I was making the song. Even though I was making it like always, I wouldn't be able to sing it with everyone.
I'm the only one who'll be singing it. Up on stage, my voice won't harmonize with anyone else's. Just thinking about that made me feel kind of deflated.
Obviously it's gonna be that way since this it's a solo live show. And I'm the member of Aqours who wanted to do it in the first place. I feel kinda scared and alone, though. Is that weird?"

AKI: "Not at all. Out of the Nijigasaki girls, Rina and Ayu were scared to go on stage at first, too. I think it's pretty normal to be anxious about standing alone in front of a large crowd. However, you're wrong about something."

CHIKA: "Ehhh?"

AKI: "Whoever said you were alone in this?"

YOU: "You'll be fine, Chika!"

CHIKA: "You!"

RIKO: "Suddenly being in your own is definitely scary."

KANAN: "Although it took you until now to realize that."

YOSHIKO: "It looks like the little demon Chika needs Yohane by her side after all."

MARI: "BUT! You won't let all these negative thoughts get the best of you, right, Chika-chi?"

DIA: "That's right. You are our steadfast leader who reformed Aqours. I am certain you will succeed."

HANAMARU: "Yeah, zura. We'll be cheering you on from back here, zura."

RUBY: "I'll be singing along with you in my heart!"

AKI: "Looks like Aqours depends on you to lead them into this fight. We'll all be watching over your performance together."

CHIKA: "You guys! Yeah... You guys are right! Thanks to all of you, I can give it my all!"

AKI: "Okay, it's time! You're up, you've got this, Chika!"

CHIKA: "Yeah! Thank you all so much! I'm gonna go sing my heart out. Everyone, please watch over me."

AKI: "They will, Chika. Just like you will look over them."

I walked with Chika to the side of the stage. However, before she could step onto the stage, we had an unexpected encounter.

AKI: "Oh? I thought you went to the after party?"

HONOKA: "I wouldn't miss this for the world. To see the leader of Aqours shine in her solo debut, I need to see this from a front row seat!"

CHIKA: "H-Honoka?"

HONOKA: "From one leader to another, I wish you luck out there."

CHIKA: "I don't know what to say... Thank you so much! It's an honor!"

AKI: *Laugh* "Looks like the two leaders have mutual respect for each other."

HONOKA: "Not just two."

AKI: "Huh?"

CHIKA: "You're the Nijigasaki leader, remember? We both respect you!"

AKI: "I'm relieved to hear that. Thank you."

HONOKA: "Now, Chika. It's your time to shine, go fight!"

CHIKA: "Yeah!"

...

AKI: "That was incredible! Both of you! You're amazing leaders!"

HONOKA: *Giggle* "You are too! I'd better join the other μ's members, they're probably wondering where I am."

AKI: "Right, thanks for cheering Chika on."

HONOKA: "She's not the only one I'm cheering on tonight. From leader to leader, I know that you'll make this event a success!"

AKI: "If the leaders of μ's and Aqours' performances are anything to judge by, I know that the rest of the night will be great!"

HONOKA: *Chuckle* "I'll be watching from the after party room. See ya!"

AKI: "Bye, Honoka."

CHIKA: *Giggle*

AKI: "Sounds like somebody's in a good mood."

CHIKA: "Well, I mean, it was a huge success! Right?"

AKI: "It sure was. Everyone was having a blast, me and Honoka back here were cheering like crazy. So I'd sat you really nailed it out there."

AKI: "So Chika, what was it like to perform solo?"

CHIKA: "It was sooo much fun! I was so worried and scared, singing and performing all alone felt a little weird.
But it taught me a whole lot too. I learned how far my voice can project when it's just me, and how to put on a good performance by myself."

AKI: "So essentially, if you decide to do another solo performance someday, you can do it without too much worry."

CHIKA: "Yeah! But there's one more thing that I learned, too."

AKI: "What is it?"

CHIKA: "Well... It's that I love singing with everyone in Aqours more than anything!
Performing solo was fun too, and I'd live to do it again, but..."

AKI: "But?"

CHIKA: "For me, it's definitely the most fun when all nine of us are singing together. That's what's most exciting to me! That's what's most exciting to me! That's what makes the world shine brightest to me!"

AKI: "You wouldn't be much of a leader if you didn't love your group. This solo performance has helped you become an even better leader too, Chika!"

CHIKA: "Yeah! I love Aqours, and I'm gonna do my best for all of us here on out!"
