THE TYRANNY BEGINS:

SHIZUKU: "She may be the new Student Council, but abolishing the club without our input is just too tyrannical."

AKI: "She has the power to do so, now. All that we can do is change her mind. Albeit she's a stubborn woman but I don't want the club to be abolished like this."

AYUMU: "Me neither, especially not after all the effort we've put into it."

KASUMI: "That's right! I want to become the cutest school idol in all of Japan. I can't just bow down to Shioriko Mifune's oppression!"

KARIN: "For someone who claims she can see everything logically, she's really putting the boot down on us and only us."

AKI: "Exactly, this school has a host club for crying out loud. I don't see what's so useful about them, so why are we the only ones getting targeted?"

I should know why. But I don't want to jump to the conclusion that she's launching a vendetta against me.

KANATA: "Mifune just doesn't understand the appeal of school idols. She's missing out!"

EMMA: "I wonder if she's really told anybody else to disband their clubs? It really makes you wonder what her reputation as Student Council President is like."

RINA: "With how heavy-handed she's being, not so great."

AI: "Yeah, uh, that doesn't seem to be the case."

AKI: "Exactly, the student body sold out their own passions for success. There's no way she'd have a bad reputation when they've elected her."

AYUMU: "Maybe she's more cooperative when it comes to other clubs and teams?"

AI: "Kasumin and I went and looked into it again, and I dunno if she's got like, a carrot and stick thing going on, or a good cop/bad cop kinda thing but...um..."

RINA: "What do you mean?"

AI: "Well, remember how she went to each of the clubs and gave advice before the election? She's doing that, but it's like she's in hyper-mode."

KASUMI: "She's still doing pretty much the same thing, but now it's like she's got no limits. No holds barred."

KARIN: "No holds barred?"

KASUMI: "When she was doing it before... Well, let's just look at the Tennis Club. She'd watch them and maybe move a singles player over to doubles based on their play style... She was basically taking their strengths and expanded on them."

AI: "But now, she's apparently looking at the bad stuff too. She'll be like, this isn't really for you. You should do this instead."

KANATA: "Yikes... Is that true?"

AKI: "It's what she does. She's a total control freak."

AI: "Apparently, there was someone on the track team who was told he wasn't any good at track, so he should go join the soccer team instead."

EMMA: "That probably wound up hurting his feelings pretty badly, huh?"

AI: "Well, yeah, they were pretty clear they didn't wanna make the switch."

SHIZUKU: "Well, of course. Being told to quit doing something you like just because you're not suited for it is just..."

AKI: "Cruel. No patience to let them improve on the skills they want to learn over time. Like everything needs to be done to provide the fastest results.
No different from her father's demands for results from his employees."

AI: "But this is where Mifune shines, actually. From what I heard, she manages to explain her reasoning so well, they wind up agreeing and going along with her advice.
What's more, even the people who were reluctant to go through with it eventually wound up doing a total 180 and being super grateful for the advice."

KARIN: "I don't understand it myself, but if both parties are in agreement, then I suppose that's a good thing."

SHIZUKU: "Even so, it appears as though she is telling people that they cannot do what does not suit them. That does not sit well with me."

AKI: "I understand perfectly, she doesn't stop until she gets her way. She won't stop until she gets her way."

AYUMU: "You know...she's kinda like you, Aki."

AKI: "Ayu... Me and Shioriko are nothing alike."

KASUMI: "That's right! My Senpai is nothing like that meanie!"

KARIN: "Well, you are the only one that seems to be able to match her in cunning and wits."

AKI: "That's because I'm a Suzuki and she's a Mifune. We were raised by our families to do this."

AYUMU: "Even so, we can't criticize her too much if there are people who appreciate what she's doing."

RINA: "She really must have an eye for these kinds of things, then. Rina-chan Board says, 'Hmm'."

KASUMI: "Not only the students support her. She's been just as forward with the Board of Directors."

EMMA: "What?! To the board?!"

KASUMI: "That's right. She successfully negotiated with Board for the procurement of a special budget."

AKI: *Laugh* "Why am I not surprised? Anything for a Mifune, bending the rules and now a budget. What even for? A 50ft statue of her to be built?"

KASUMI: "It's for a new training room for the boxing club, expensive technical books for the library, and new instruments for the wind instrument club."

AKI: "Ugh, the boxing club getting money is the last thing I want to hear right now..."

AI: "Not to mention, that's why the drama club's getting a famous director to come give a lecture."

SHIZUKU: "What?! Are you saying that Mifune arranged for that?"

AKI: "Getting all that equipment is no easy task. The board may have given her a budget because of her lineage, but... I'll admit that she's working hard on this."

KARIN: "I give up. I can't complain if she's putting in that much work."

AI: "Anyway, even though she's going about it in a pretty crazy way, there's no shortage of people who see her in a positive light."

RINA: "That is...pretty amazing."

KANATA: "But Setsuna did a fine job as a Student Council President too. I don't think it's right for people to change sides like this."

AKI: "She destroyed all of Setsuna's credibility in an instant. Of course they'll switch sides, no matter how wrong it is."

SETSUNA: "No, I believe it's the natural stance to take."

AKI: "Setsuna?"

SETSUNA: "I may have done all I could in my own way, but seeing how hard Mifune was working during the election, I couldn't help but feel like I barely did anything at all.
I guess it just feels like...Mifune is completely invested in being the Student Council President."

AKI: "Well, she doesn't have club activities to focus on."

SETSUNA: "Neither did I for the remainder of my campaign."

EMMA: "I think you did an excellent job all around, Setsuna."

SETSUNA: "Thank you very much. However, I really don't think it was enough. If you were to ask if I approached and considered every individual student, I would not have been able to answer.
Also, in most cases, there is a set budget that had to be worked within. A supplementary budget would generally be unthinkable.
For her to recieve Board approval means that she must have prepared enough materials to convince the Board that the supplementary budget was necessary."

AKI: "Being a Mifune is enough material, right?"

SETSUNA: "It is not as easy as it sounds. A lineage would not be enough. Heaven knows how much time and effort it must have taken. It's not something that can be done unless you're passionate about it."

AKI: "I thought the board was in her pocket the entire time. But, I guess I've underestimated her."

SETSUNA: "I think she's an upstanding person who truly cares about the school and the students. That's why I'm honestly glad that she became the new Student Council President."

AYUMU: "Setsuna..."

AKI: "Even though her desperate measures against you, you're happy that she won?"

SETSUNA: "Of course I'm disappointed that I didn't win, but to me she won fair and square."

AKI: "I don't see what's fair about her totalitarian attitude towards our club."

SETSUNA: "She won fair and square. However, her trying to disband our club is a completely different matter!"

AKI: "Yeah! That's exactly right! It just feels wrong to think we have no choice but to get abolished.
It feels like a dictatorship.
My Grandfather fought against that ideology in World War II. 442nd regiment of the US Army. He didn't give his life so that people like Shioriko can practice dictatorial behaviour!"

AYUMU: "Your Grandfather?"

AKI: "Wait, I haven't told you before?"

AYUMU: "I'm not sure if you have. But I agree with you. We can't be forced against our will."

AKI: "That's the spirit!"

AYUMU: "Yeah! There's also the issues with the School Idol Festival, so we need to give it all we've got."

AKI: "That's right, Ayu. We need to find some way to push back and save the club.
LET'S GO FOR BROKE!"
