NO DAYS OFF - PART 4:

MAKI: *Sigh*

I never get tired of hearing Maki play the piano.

MAKI: "You can play the piano, too, so I'm surprised you always come to hear me play."

AKI: *Laugh* "I make sure I can everytime I visit! Even though I should probably also be practicing."

MAKI: "I wouldn't mind practicing together. Why do you come to listen to me?"

AKI: "Well, because... I feel really happy when I hear you playing the piano."

MAKI: "?!"

AKI: "Oh! I'm sorry, was that response a little too heavy?"

MAKI: "Not really. I don't mind. Actually... it makes me really happy to hear you say that."

AKI: "Maki!"

MAKI: "I get it. I understand what you're trying to say. *Giggle* I had no idea you liked me so much."

AKI: "Yeah!"

MAKI: "HEY! I was just kidding. Don't respond so seriously."

AKI: "Really? But it's true that I like you..."

MAKI: "That's enough! You're so persistent."

I made her angry...

MAKI: "It makes you happy, huh? Maybe that's why people come to our live shows."

AKI: "Who are you talking about?"

MAKI: "I'm talking about the people who will come to the solo show.
Do you remember when we talked before? I said the point of a solo live show might be to show everyone how much you've improved."

AKI: "Yeah. We talked about solo live shows with the Nijigasaki girls."

MAKI: "I've been thinking long and hard about it after listening to what they had to say and what you yourself had to say.
But eventually, I realized that I was thinking about it all wrong."

AKI: "Thinking about it wrong?"

MAKI: "The people who come to solo live shows don't care about the results of practice. They probably just want to have a good time."

AKI: "I see. Yeag, it'd be amazing if your solo live show could give them that!"

MAKI: "Yes. I plan to live up to their expectations. I want to make everyone who comes to the live show happy."

AKI: "Yeah! If anyone can do it, you can!"

MAKI: "Hey, this involves you too, you know."

AKI: "Huh?"

MAKI: "You're going to support me, right? This isn't a performance that I'm creating with μ's. This is a performance I'm creating with you."

AKI: "Maki... You're right! We're in this together!"

...

I always love listening to the piano. Whether it be Maki, Riko or even myself. It's a beautiful instrument capable of creating pure magic.

Hey, is that Eli and Honoka over there?

Now might be a great opportunity to ask her about the situation with the Chairwoman.

HONOKA: "Eli! We've all been practicing for the solo live. I'm really looking forward to seeing your solo performance, too!"

ELI: "I can't wait to see yours either, Honoka. I'm gonna have to practice hard if I want to keep up with the rest of you!"

HONOKA: "Thanks, let's do our best! Fight on!"

...

AKI: "Looks like everyone's solo live preparations are going well."

ELI: "Only because you're helping everyone, which I'm so grateful for. Maybe I'll ask for some support for you, too."

AKI: "Sure thing! We should start by deciding what you want to do for your solo performance."

...

ELI: "For my solo performance... First, I'd like to reassess myself."

AKI: "Reassess yourself?"

ELI: "I want to figure out the things I can and can't do. The  I can set some goals for the show."

AKI: "I see. Setting goals does seem like a good idea."

ELI: "I can either show off my strengths or try to work on my weaknesses. Which do you think I should focus on?"

AKI: "I'm not even sure you have any weaknesses, but it'd be great if you could work on the things you're insecure about. It really doesn't seem like you have many weaknesses, though."

ELI: "That's not true. Nozomi often says I'm surprisingly careless."

AKI: "Really? That reminds me, there was that one time when you were at school at night..."

ELI: *Groan* "You don't have to bring that up."

AKI: "But you were really cute then, Eli. That wasn't a weakness at all."

ELI: "Also, girls like Honoka and Nico are really energetic and charming. I don't have any of those qualities, though.
It hasn't really mattered much up to now because each of us in μ's can make up for what the other members lack."

AKI: "You don't think you're charming?"

Come on, that's not true at all.

ELI: "Wh-Why are you looking at me with those doubtful eyes?"

AKI: "Because you aren't just beautiful, you're also cute. I don't think that's a weakness at all."

ELI: "Harasho?! I honestly don't feel that way about myself."

AKI: "You're cute, Eli. I don't think you have any weaknesses you even need to overcome!"

ELI: "No way. Almost nobody ever calls me cute, so this is really embarrassing."

AKI: "That's exactly the sort of thing that makes you so cute!"

ELI: "Okay, okay, enough. Geez, how can a boy say that to a girl so confidently? Do you have no shame?"

AKI: "My gender doesn't matter. I just speak the truth about reality, and the reality is that you're cute. That is all."

ELI: "I think I'll focus on strengths instead and try to show off my dancing skills."

AKI: "Sure! I want to see you dancing a lot during your performance."

ELI: "Help me practice, okay?"

AKI: "WHAT?! I c-can't dance."

ELI: "That assumption is the only thing holding you back. I'll teach you, but I won't go easy on you!"

AKI: "Oof. I...I guess you have  point there. But I'll only disappoint you."

ELI: "Just take my hand already."

AKI: "O-Okay, let's start with some warm up-exercises. I'll try not to slow you down!"

ELI: "Very good! *Chuckle* Let's just try our best, okay?"
